WOW strong magnets!
The side magnets are a perfect size for maximum strength without interrupting the sleek look. The rod is strong and does not bend when curtain placed on it, fits together perfect and took 3 seconds to put it on the door. (however I must admit I moved it a millimeter or so 10 times--not the rod, just my eyes) and it was hard to move--a good thing.I have never purchased a magnetic curtain rod with the strength of magnets in this one. It absolutely holds whatever you want to put on there and no slipping downward of the magnets AT ALL. This is 100% worth the purchase and you will not regret it. It will not make marks on your door even if it is white and try----just try to make it slip--no way. You can pull it off the door without any harm to the painted surface unlike magnetic rods I have purchased in the past. This is the first one I bought that can stretch out nearly to the 30" max and still maintain strength. It has been on my door for 3 months, I pulled one end off to take a lookey loo and no marks on door.

Super easy to use and install, and stays put!
Super easy to use and install. Just about anyone can use on a magnetic surface. I bought this to place a small curtain on our back door that gets tons of blinding morning sun. I could’ve done the smack on the forehead “Why didn’t I ever think of this before?”, but what would that solve really? Out of the package you simply figure out which end comes off, slide your curtain on the rod, adjust for size and put the end back on and place on metal or magnetic surface. Super easy. It stays put with frequent hard door shutting.

It holds a lightweight curtain easily
I have it holding a sheer curtain on my glass door and it works fine. I don't think it would be as secure if used for a heavier curtain or drape. Extended to near its widest, sometimes the two halves come apart when handled.

The Original Magnetic Curtain Rod is the best
The Magne Rod magnetic curtain rod is clearly superior for three simple reasons. It's light, using aluminum for the tube instead of steel. The decorative ends, called finials, act as brackets too, for maximum stability. This is so much better than clips which twist and lose holding power. The magnets are nice and strong with closed cell foam pads over them to protect the door. Skotz Mfg., Inc. is now offering a super strong version too which is rarely needed but it's available.Don't forget that your satisfaction is guaranteed and for 22 years, we've made this pledge. I invented it so I'm a little biased! The facts back me up, however. White is the most popular color because of all the steel doors that are white inside.

Love
These stick really well on my back door. They stay in place. They keep the curtain pulled over the window to keep people from looking in it all the time. Well worth the money. The magnets are great and really stay in place even with the door opening and closing.

They have answered the problem and look nice also.
I got totally frustrated with the kitchen hand towel constantly falling off the oven door handle as people walked past. So I bought these, one to go on the side of the stove out of the traffic, one for the refrigerator door. They have answered the problem and look nice also.

Strong magnet works great and looks great.
For the longest time wife wanted to have curtain for back door. With steel door did not want to drill into. This magnetic rod is perfect. The white color is just right the size is right and the magnet is more than strong enough. Would buy again.

Great solution for a side door window
I needed a window treatment for two side doors made of metal (so no screws or roller shade hardware). This café rod really did the trick -- it doesn't sag too much when extended (unlike the lousy Levolor Kirsch magnetic rod, which I returned). I do wish it came in a brushed metal color, but the white does blend pretty well with the color of the door.
