Just the right size and nicely made
This is easy to put together and is a fantastic size, I've seen mini greenhouses locally for sale in the same price range that weren't as big or well made. Just over 5 feet tall and 1.5 feet deep, it's the right height/depth for me to easily each everything on the top 2 shelves without having to call in my taller family members to help. Mine is anchored into place with stakes, and the shelves are tied into place on the racks. That only took a few minutes. A day after putting it up, we had some strong winds and it stayed in place and stayed together. Living in Alaska, this is just the right size for those plants that need a little more. I'm looking forward to seeing how well they do over the summer with the amount of sunlight we get. Once everything is secured into place, it's nice and sturdy. The shelves are strong enough to take a fair amount of weight, and the cover feels substantial. I did a lot of review reading before deciding on this mini greenhouse for my gardening needs. I'm really happy with the purchase. It's just the right size, easy to build and easy to use.

Great for the little gardener in me.
Great for the little gardener in me. I love flowers, some vegies, plants. But the cost of these from nurseries are too much for me. With this I have started so many flowers, vegies, etc from seeds. That I am actually now giving away starts as gifts. I have mine right by front door, in front yard, its attractive when it is loaded with all little green shoots sprouting up everywhere. Per reason it ended there for me is to have it on concrete surface, up against home, under over hang. So it's out of direct sun light, out of strong winds, and downpours. I live in Florida, all those things needed to be taken into consideration. Great investment! I love it, and plan to get many years of use out of this. P.S. it's a good size, neither too big or too small, made sturdy, does not wobble. I did tie strap the covering as many others suggested to do that.

Very nice, especially for the price!
We bought this as a gift for someone with a west-facing balcony, who is a plant hobbyist. The recipient reports that this mini-greenhouse is adorable, well constructed, and very functional. The greenhouse provides the shade this hobbyist needed for some of his more light-sensitive plants and did so in a very compact space. The door zips open and up, and can be secured in that position to vent heat. We did add a clip-on fan to assist with venting and air-circulation, and the thermometer says the greenhouse is staying in an optimal range, being cooler than the ambient temperatures. The recipient used zip-ties to secure the shelving just as an added precaution. All in all, it is nice looking, compact, and is serving the purpose splendidly.

terribly made
The framing is part plastic which breaks upon building. It's a discontinued product so it's all a waste of time. Great idea, poorly made.

Nice product but poorly built.
When I opened the box, I loved it! It was easy to assemble and contrary to other things I have read, the frame was extremely sturdy. However, my joy soon turned to disappointment as soon as I removed the shelves from the box. The wire shelves can be described in one word, CRAP!! The shelves are flimsy, do not lay flat, and poorly constructed.

Good starter greenhouse - just go easy on the zippers/seams
Updated review 6/4/2014 We put the greenhouses outdoors in mid May to help the seedlings get weather-ready. We put smaller cinderblocks on the bottom shelves in each one and kept them close to the house. The biggest problem was one of the zippers failed completely. I tried fixing it and ended up using duct tape to close up the greenhouse at night. And then on the third day of that, the seam connecting the front to the side split. It was a bummer. I think it's fixable, but it's not particularly awesome. I've dropped my rating from 4 to 3 stars for this. It's not a bad product and the price is still pretty darn awesome. I was seeing similar versions in the box stores but the cover was cheaper and the poles were plastic. For the price and all that, this works. Just don't hulk smash your way through the zipper closures and everything else. Previous review: I bought two of these for use indoors to get my seedlings started. My point in buying these, rather than just leaving the trays out is a) I keep my home pretty cool b) I have a cat who is an entitled buttmunch and gets into everything despite my best efforts to get him to be less of a jerk c) I don't have a lot of shelves to put seedlings on, especially where they will get a lot of light/warmth. These are sturdy enough for my purposes but I would not put them outdoors without significant shoring up - they do have clips to attach tie downs to. Based on other reviews, I did add zip ties to keep the shelves in place and they have worked like a charm. I am able to get two trays on each shelf. I will only be using these for a few months out of the year and am hopeful that they will last me a few years :)

Very Satisfied!
I love it. I have needed something like this for years to harden off my plants. I raise everything I put in my garden from seed. It is so aggravating to move plants in and out constantly. You have to be available to raise the zip -down door. It gets very warm in there for new seedlings when the sun heats up . It allows me to keep the plants outside once the temp gets an average of 50. Inside it provides protection from cold and bright sun. I have it moved to where it doesn't get sun all day. Just a few hours. It is a good idea to brace it. I put some heavy plants on top and it seems to be doing fine and the wind has gotten terrible gusty the last couple of weeks. I have it up against the house, though . I think it is a great deal and it is so beneficial. I am really glad I got it. I bought the replacement covers at a great deal as well so I 'll have use for several years.

This greenhouse worked awesome. I only used it for one spring so far. I did have a problem with some of the rods not fitting correctly, but we worked it out. It is kind of flimsy if you don't have it tied down. We kept ours right next to our shop out of the wind. It kept my plants protected and warm inside - especially when the sun came out. I'm thinking about buying a bigger one though as this was just right and I want to start some additional seedlings this year. :) Update: This was my third year using this greenhouse and it still is in excellent condition. Easy to set up and take down.
