L'Oreal Paris Colorista Semi-Permanent Hair Colour Review: Worth a try!!! - MY WIFE'S REVIEW: I got this colour in August. Though it was not visible much on my hair while it was curly, post straightening in October it became more prominent. Which means it did last more than 10 washes. The colour shows up better in day light or under bright spot lights. The negative of this product is that it bleeds in every wash. You have to keep a separate towel for this everytime also do not use light cloths if your hair is wet or may get wet. Until fully dry do not rest your head anywhere. Review: Stains but amazing colour - The colour is amazing when you apply it and stays for quite a long time.. It says upto 4-10 washes but mine has stayed for 12+ washes.. The only disadvantage is that being in India it is humid unless you live in the cold states or cities.. The color seeps with sweat and stains clothes and pillow covers and blankets it goes away with "vanish pink" stain remover but it is inconvenient as your collar will be stained when you go to work or school

It's been almost 2 months and the red is still there. I think I just have to grow it out....

Only a small amount of product is needed. The colour lasts around 5 washes and fades with every wash. For reference, my hair is dyed dirty blonde.

Turn out kind of purple but still so beautiful

I liked the fact that the colour didn't last too long just in case you didn't like the colour. The colour was nice. Didn't like the fact that the colour bleed when wet but I guess that is why the colour eventually fades out. I wish I could have put it all over my hair, roots and all but it said not too because it would dye your scalp. Overall it was a nice product for a temporary colour. It was easy to apply as well.

I have very dark blonde (dyed) hair with some highlights. I wasn't sure if I should go for the brunette or the blonde. I knew I wanted saturated color, not just a highlight, so I picked the brunette in red. WOW!!! It is flaming, awesome red. I get compliments every single place I go. Even people who have never seen me with my "regular" hair stop me to say "I LOVE your hair color!" I never have had an unusual color before (well, once it was pink but it was a haircolor goofup that only my husband saw...oh, and the drugstore person who sold me the color remover! ha ha!) I figured what the heck and went for bold red. I really am loving it. I almost hate to see it rinse down the drain. And it totally does rinse...it seems like you are standing in a puddle of melted cherry popsicle. I thought ahead and used an old red towel I had otherwise I would have dyed a lighter colored one. I don't see it on my pillowcase or anything, but I make sure my hair is dry before bed. No almost dry...dry dry. I have not had it transfer to any clothes yet either. Now, the big question is will it rinse out of color treated hair. So far I am only on shampoo #3, so it is staying pretty red. I don't over wash or rinse it (since I like the color) but I can see some dark blonde tinge coming through here and there. I am not sure if the highlighted ends will end up pink or what, but will update when I get to shampoo like 10 or so. I should say though that I am totally enjoying this color and may end up re-doing the red one more time before I even try to get it out. If it is really stuck, and I don't like the faded color, I may go for the color remover eventually. My daughter tried the blue/teal, and it gave her brown/dark brown hair a nice cast of blue. It doesn't look like blue hair, but a darker version of her natural color with a very noticable blue hint. It isn't like old lady, you can't miss the blue. She likes it a lot.
