10/10
High quality material, looks great. Intentionally oversized as youโll need to sand it to fit your particular instrument. Plan on that and be careful not to overdo it.

The dimensions
The dimension just measure the size of the box, not the nut. pinches medidas pedorras.

Perfect fit in my GIB-5
My GIB-5 Came with a plastic nut, which was OK, as I was just starting to pick up on a 5 string. Well, long story short, the plastic nut cracked and needed to be replaced. After doing much research and measuring , I ordered the Graph Tech Tusq XL PT-1400-00 5 String Bass Nut, and it was a perfect fit, slots are clean and required no extra filing to set string height on my Bass. The nut only required minimal flash clean up with a fingernail file, and a couple of dabs of PVA glue to hold it in place. Couldn't be happier, best $13 bucks I ever spent.Honestly,it almost took longer to get it out of the package than to install!

Won't work.. for me..
At one time Graph tech had some charts that helped a lot selecting nuts. Not on Amazon and not on the company site. Maybe they hid it.. So I contacted Graph Tech after this one didn't fit. The one the Tech there was not going to fit either. I tossed in the towel and cut one out of a bone blank. A LOT of work. But it was a viable repair.
