Bonide Captain Jack's Bacillus Thuringiensis BT, 32 oz

I didn't know exactly what to expect. It's my first time trying to grow tomatoes. I didn't think hornworms existed in my area of the country, but there was massive evidence of something eating my plants. (Frass, and lots of it.) Anyway a quick research session led me to this product and I am very much a fan. It could not be easier to use, and the results were evident within only two (2) days. The fact that it is organic and will not harm bees and other wildlife was a huge selling point for me as well. I believe the price is more than fair, as I later compared it to other sellers. I also purchased a blacklight so will be better equipped to stay ahead of the game in the future.

Worked great! Had a slight caterpillar problem on my gigantic basil plants. Sprayed this, only took one session and they were gone within a week. worked like an absolute charm!!!

Great product for my garden! It’s easy to use with the ready-to-spray bottle and has become a handy product to keep around when dealing with worms and caterpillars on my plants. Simple to apply and works well for my gardening needs. I’ll definitely keep this on hand.

Bonide Captain Jack’s Thuricide has worked well for keeping caterpillars from chewing up my garden plants. I like that it targets leaf-eating worms and caterpillars without feeling like I’m using a harsh general-purpose insect killer. It was easy to apply, and after a couple applications I noticed less new damage on my vegetables. The main downside is that it is not an instant knockdown product. You have to apply it thoroughly, especially underneath leaves, and reapply after rain or heavy watering. It also seems to work best when the caterpillars are still small, so you need to stay ahead of the problem. Overall, it’s a solid garden product and I’d buy it again. Four stars because it works, but it takes consistent application and a little patience.

I have tried so many different products over the years, both organic and non-organic trying to keep the caterpillars and other pests off my night blooming Jasmins and my bougainvillea. Nothing ever worked for 15 years. I bought a bottle of this and used up the whole bottle after two applications approximately one week apart and my plants are thriving for the first time without any bugs, pests or caterpillars. I’m so excited. I just bought another bottle.

Huge value! I had a confirmed squash borer infestation that hadn't quite killed off my 3 types of squash plants. Using a syringe, I was able to quickly inject and treat all my squash plants. Weeks later, they are thriving! I now treat stems, leaves, and dirt with this stuff and have not had a recurrence!

I wish I had know about this sooner. We had cabbage worms invading our kale. We sprayed this on the leaves and within days, the worms were dying off. We did reapply every other day initially, and then after rain.

I think it’s a little expensive for the amount you get
