Bonide Captain Jack's Bacillus Thuringiensis BT, 32 oz | Ready-to-Use Spray, Worm & Caterpillar Control, For Organic Gardening

I came outside one day and the very little hungry caterpillar ate almost all of my leaves in the middle of my cauliflower plant!!! I found out about this product and searched high and low at my local gardening stores and couldn’t find it at all. Many came looking for it. Wasn’t expecting anything big but it kills them super fast. They become nasty gray little dead worms. This product WORKS!!

This stuff works. A few weeks ago, within a 48 hour period, caterpillars completely decimated my petunias. After spending too much time combing through my flowers trying to find them, I googled “what kills caterpillars that are eating my petunias” and I was lead to this wonderful product. It kills caterpillars specifically and does not harm bees or butterflies or other pollinators. Make sure to spray in the evening as the sun could burn the plants in the heat of the day. THIS STUFF STINKS. Like a very musty smell that’s honestly horrendous, but a very small price to pay for how effective it is. I doused my flowers once, gave it about 5 days and sprayed them again. That’s it. First picture is June 23rd and last picture is July 8th. I will continue to recommend this product to anyone having issues with those godforsaken caterpillars destroying your garden!

This worked really well for caterpillars on my petunias. There were so many of them and I was trying to remove them one by one. I sprayed my plants/flowers one time and no more damage to my flowers. Seems to have solved the problem. I would just be careful to not get it on yourself, cause it stinks! Def recommend it.

Bonide Captain Jack’s Thuricide has worked well for keeping caterpillars from chewing up my garden plants. I like that it targets leaf-eating worms and caterpillars without feeling like I’m using a harsh general-purpose insect killer. It was easy to apply, and after a couple applications I noticed less new damage on my vegetables. The main downside is that it is not an instant knockdown product. You have to apply it thoroughly, especially underneath leaves, and reapply after rain or heavy watering. It also seems to work best when the caterpillars are still small, so you need to stay ahead of the problem. Overall, it’s a solid garden product and I’d buy it again. Four stars because it works, but it takes consistent application and a little patience.

An aphid infestation appeared overnight on my magnificent newly purchased hibiscus. I was devastated thought I was going to lose it check to see what product I could try to save it and purchased this product. I am happy to say it is perfect again blooming beautifully and this product saved my plant. I recommend it highly.

Huge value! I had a confirmed squash borer infestation that hadn't quite killed off my 3 types of squash plants. Using a syringe, I was able to quickly inject and treat all my squash plants. Weeks later, they are thriving! I now treat stems, leaves, and dirt with this stuff and have not had a recurrence!

We bought Bonide Captain Jack's Bacillus Thuringiensis after pickleworms started infesting our cucumber plants. We were worried we were going to lose the rest of our crop, but this product did exactly what we needed it to do. After applying it as directed, it helped stop the infestation and saved the rest of our cucumber harvest. We're very happy with the results and will definitely keep this on hand for future gardening seasons. If you're dealing with caterpillar pests like pickleworms, I highly recommend giving this a try.
