NICKS Gingerbread chocolate wafer bars no added sugar, gluten free | 30x40g

Love kex bars, as a diabetic finding something that tastes great and makes my sweet tooth happy is a challenge. I love gingerbread so these special edition bars bring joy to my world! I have given them to diabetic friends and they ended up ordering them too.

Very tasty, not too filling. Amazing they're supposed to actually be healthy!

It was nice to have them in for the Christmas period when everyone else is eating mince pies and other Christmas goodies. However, I wouldn't buy this flavour again as this is the first Nick's bar I've found the Stevia aftertaste to be an issue. I admit I don't like Stevia but I'm impressed by Nick's offering because I don't have an issue with the aftertaste as long as I don't have a coffee straight after them. My husband loves all the Nick's bars and was really excited when I ordered these because he loves gingerbread. However, he didn't like this one and, like me, found them to have a bitter after taste. Maybe the flavourings used enhance the stevia like coffee seems to. I didn't hate the flavour and happy use them up but I wouldn't buy them again. This one also upsets my tummy which is a problem I've never had with the sports bars.
