What a sight
I like the way this sight fit and looks good. It fit really tight on my Winchester 1200 non ribbed 12 gauge and provided a nice fiber optics sight. I lined it up on my front bead pressed down on a angle front first it was quite tight fitting but it snapped over the barrel. I am sure that it is not going to move.

Brittle..extremely tight fit
Cool little addition to your shotgun if only it didn't break on its own .. after a very ridiculous TIGHT fit it stayed on there for about a week, didn't even get a chance to shoot it and when i saw it was split right down the middle . Don't waste your money .. needs to be reworked. Bad product

Better than others I tried.
Very tight fit, which is GREAT. I got one for double this price but it kept flying off the gun and getting lost. This one sits snug and tight. Not quite as bright as the other one, but still works well.

good enough
since the maverick 88 has a basically minuscule bead sight, this improve your aiming without have to change anything.

Upgrade to a Maverick 88
As you know Maverick is a thrifty shotgun that can use upgrades. This is one I recommend. It raises the front sight just enough that it makes it a truer shot. Before I found I had to aim just below my target. This is a snap-on piece that has a notch for the existing front sight which isn't perfect but helps you line it up with no effort. Super cheap and looks good on a black barrel. The green color shows up great with a dark background but less so shooting at day time in an open field. However, still better than a standard stock front sight.Installation: I recommend having the grun on the ground or in front of you against a wall to desk that doesn't move. Start at the front of gun pushing it over the barrel using a thumb and knuckle on both sides of thee filamernt at the other end of the sight not pressing directly on the green filament. Once you get it started at the tip apply pressure to the other side and it should snap on. Be patient.

Makes old guns usable
I inherited an old shotgun that has a brass front bead that was nearly impossible to see. This fiber optic sight snapped right on the barrel and made it usable. Fits tight, shines bright.

Buy multiple will break.
It was a tight fit on my 12 gage Mossberg Maverick 88. But was able to get it on and looked great. Placed it in its case and got to the range to try it out and it had broke in half. Seems like this is best for only temporary not long term. Will be replacing.

Good idea but the fiber optic rod came out
I saw a few reviews saying the plastic part broke. In my case the plastic has been holding up OK, but the fiber optic piece came out when I put this device on the barrel. (It fits tight, be careful when you put it on that it is aligned with the bead sight).I remounted the rod, but of course it flew off, never to be seen again, once the weapon was fired at the range. This is a good idea but the implementation just is not that great. I have ordered some replacement fiber optic rods and I am going to try to replace the missing one. Maybe I can find a way to keep it retained.
