I purchased these to secure the cover on my balcony cube garden furniture. As the balcony is on the coast we get some strong winds and so I needed to be sure the straps would be secure. They have yet to be subjected to the British winter, but they stood up to the recent thunder storms and I have no reason to doubt their performance next winter.

I've bought many, many buckle straps over the years, from all different brands, at all different price points. These are great, well made, strong and reliable. The cheapest buckle straps are prone to failure when putting them under a lot of tension (especially when pulled across corners) and usually snap suddenly (there's no warning from visible fraying usually), but these thicker style straps are much more forgiving and long lasting. Buy them and you won't regret it!

The straps are 5m long but you can easily cut them down to suit your use. I’ve used them to tie down my mx bike in the back of my van and they work well!
