Liberty Orchards Fruit Delights Fruit & Nut Candies, 8 Ounce

These were very tasty and a big hit with my husband, who ate almost a whole box!

This candy is made the old-fashioned way, and is superbly delicious. I first encountered this as a kid, eating one of the Applets. I would not come across it again for another 50 years, but when I saw the box, I knew I had to try it again. Made of soft fruit juice gently boiled down, with added nuts, there is no better flavor on the planet.

Yes, these are giftable. Yes, they arrived well - packed. Are they deformed, as other reviewers have said? Nope, perfect square. Are they delicious? Absolutely. But really sweet, sweeter than those Ferraro nougats, and sweeter than the turkish delights I've had. Heck, they're even sweeter than my jelly belly beans which I've sadly run out of. Will these yummy squares last the rest of the day? Probably not! You might wanna have a friend lock these up for you ;) it's a shame one doesn't get more of them for the price I paid :( which means I knock off one star.

What's more to say? These believable flavors are made from real fruits and nuts; pure delights. My favorite are the apple and orange flavors, I just can't get enough of it. These liberty orchard delights might be a bit expensive but are worth the delicacy. Knock yourself out with these; they also make great gifts!

I had gotten the chocolate-covered ones as a gift and decided to try these. Big mistake! They have NO fruit flavor at all and no nuts either. A couple of them were dark on one side, so I threw them out for safety's sake. Waste of money.

I'm very familiar with this product, the box shown for the product, at that size and more rectangular, is a 12oz box. Looking online you will find many examples of this box showing it as 12oz (additional photos), and you won't find any except for this specific product showing that particular box as an 8oz box. This could be misleading as in my case where I'm very familiar with the product and didn't take the time to think about 8oz being a much smaller box. Also arrive crushed, some of the pieces inside were fused together. Most definitely not suitable for gifting and a terrible price for 8oz.

These Liberty Orchards Fruit Delights were really delicious. I shared these tasty treats with my family, these Liberty Orchard Fruit Delights didn't last very long and they were gone in two days. I loved all of these Liberty Orchard Fruit Delights. The Peach and Walnut, Strawberry and Walnut, Blueberry and Walnut, Raspberry and Pecan and the Pineapple and Macadamia Nut has a tangy flavor, were firm and the confectioner's sugar had the right amount of sugar to it and it wasn't too sweet. I received this order on Father's Day on 6/18/17 and it was the perfect gift for him.

There is nothing I dislike. I cannot eat chocolate. I know I am not alone in that. This is a great alternative. It is a wonderful way to satisfy that craving for a sweet snack. I just wish that they would have the Aplets and Coplets available as well.
