John Varvatos Men's Rocker Motorcycle Boot

These are good looking boots. That said, a couple things bugged me.1) You would never, ever wear these when riding a motorcycle despite the product's name; I get that. But if Austin Powers and the Marlboro man are two sides of a spectrum, these are a lot closer to Austin Powers than I would have guessed from the description and pictures. I would describe their silhouette as "waifish" well before I'd use the words "solid" or "tough."2) In the pictures, the zipper appears a little more metallic or silvery than on the actual boots where the zipper doesn't stand out from the leather nearly as much.On balance, these are really great boots, I got a deal on them and they're staying in my closet (vs. going back). I guess I expected them to be, a) a bit more substantial and, b) "pop" a little more with the zipper contrasting the leather.

Great boots. I usually wear a 10.5 and with converse and slip on shoes a 10. I got these in a 10 and they fit perfectly. Soft leather and good support.

Comfortable from the first wear and nice detailing. They came out of the box ready to wear and live up to my high expectations.
