Perfect balance
I bought this for my daughters 9th birthday. It the perfect size. She can move it around in the basement and work on her beam skills. She's even started working on level 6 skills at home. At practice, her coaches are impressed with her progress.

Seems a lot smaller than 8ft. Very light, I can move it between studios. Glad there was no necessary assembly.
