I use this to haul seed trays, fertilizer, tools, bagged mulch, and more to my community garden plot (over 100+ m distance) for planting and maintenance. Heavy gauge plastic is perfect for my needs. I'm sure this'll last for many years to come!

This is a fantastic piece! It’s been used all winter to sled huge amounts of firewood (per load) across snow covered rocky terrain. When I first saw it, it seemed flimsy and lightweight and I didn’t think it could handle what we needed. Surprise, it worked like a champ. Curves, rocky terrain, snow steps, truly a back saver.

Good size. Very thin though, I have doubts about it being the heavy duty.

I don't have snow where I live but I put this in the 5' bed of my Tacoma to use as a poor man's drawer system. I load sports equipment onto it and just pull the sled out so I can get to the stuff all the way in the back. It got tedious opening the hard bed cover every time I needed something, so that's how I'm using it. The edges are raw cut plastic, so I'm thinking of sanding the edges, I'm guessing most people have gloves on when they're using it, so it's YMMV. I like the eyes for bungee or ropes. The pro/con of weight/thickness/heavy-duty plastic... It's definitely light weight enough to carry. In terms of durability, it's cheap enough you should get a few years out of it and replace as necessary. I'm going to modify mine by heating and rolling the edges under... To make it take less space in the truck and have the edges be less sharp. The flat sides stick out a lot, IMHO.

Good sled. Great for ice fishing if you pack light.

We bought this for sledding. We get deep snow here in Colorado, and this toboggan does not track correctly in deep snow. It is probably OK to pull along for ice fishing or hunting, but riding down a hill is problematic. The exact problem is that the nose is not shaped correctly. When you lean left, the toboggan goes right, and when you lean right the toboggan goes left. All the other high quality sleds we have owned will turn in the direction you lean. This is the same behavior you get on a bike, skateboard, wake board, airplane, sports kite, etc. Basically, every riding thing on Earth that is designed right will turn in the direction of the lean, not opposite. I imagine it will work ok for sledding on hard packed snow or ice. As long as the surface is hard enough to keep the nose of the toboggan above the snow. Aside from this sled turning opposite from the direction you lean, it is VERY sturdy. It will probably last a long time.

I modded this sled out with 10 eyelets, 550 cord, carabiners, 4 kayak handles and a pull rope. That made it work as a pulk sled. 20 bucks walmart kayak handles, like 10 bucks for 10 steel eyelets, I had ropes already and a bunch of carabiners, and you still come out on top with total cost compared to other sleds. Minus the pulk poles, which i highly suggest you make because they're expensive. Also, if you have to ride down a hill on it as i did it, counter steers.
