Will this plug work with the 240 plug on my generator for my 30 am0 camper

Thank you for your question! Yes, the 2711 can be wired for 240V and in fact is commonly used on generators. David Keller Leviton Vice President, e-Business

Can this be used for my washing machine? It’s the only outlet in my laundry room.

Please consult a qualified electrician and only use a connection recommended by the manufacturer. I used this for a connection from an emergency generator to my house using a transfer switch. This is designed for 220v/240v and most, if not all, washing machines are 110v/120v, while dryers are 220v/240v. Combos are connected differently. In other words, consult an expert or risk losing your appliance.
