Orion SpaceProbe 130ST EQ Telescope & Beginner Barlow Kit

I absolutely love this telescope and this beginner kit is a great deal. The little laser is cool, but unless really. The books are nice pieces of knowledge and the star chart I honestly haven't touched since my unboxing.The value of this kit is the telescope and Barlow lens, no doubt. Separately, they would be at least $350. So basically you are buying that and paying $10 dollars for the laser, books, starchart, and (the real reason you should buy this kit) shipping combined. All these items sportily with shipping involved (Should be free shipping for this kit) would be north of $450 dollars.The SpaceProbe 130t is an amazing telescope far more capable than the normal beginner will ever really get into. My first telescope and I'm absolutely in love.

My son loved this scope. We got it for his 16th Birthday. Good quality. Helps to watch videos on putting it together and for calibrating it .

I purchased this telescope for my husband as an anniversary gift. He absolutely loves it! He said that the assembly was extremely simple, everything fit together perfectly, and the quality is exceptional.He is like a little kid with a new toy and cannot wait for it to get dark so he can go outside and look at the stars. The clarity is amazing and it was also easy to get all of the necessary adjustments made for viewing. In fact, he said that there was very little adjustment required and it appeared that it had been done, for the most part, by Orion prior to shipping.I don't know that much about telescopes but did quite a bit of research before deciding on this particular one. According to my happy husband, I chose the perfect telescope for his needs.

Purchased this as a gift for my husband. Telescope was packaged really well in sturdy boxes. From a beginner's standpoint, the telescope comes with enough accessories that are simple to use and easy enough to assemble. Includes two eyepieces (26x and 65x), and the shorty 2x barlow lens. Star chart is really handy for us beginners. Also comes with a red flashlight, which we use to view the chart in the dark. Telescope is big and heavy, so not ideal for carrying around. By the way, we highly recommend to purchase lens filters for better contrast.

It does everything you need in a standard, inexpensive reflector. It' easy to use, easy to set-up, and fun for hours of viewing.
