Chosen over Coleman 6p Insta Cabin
Nice and spacious, airy, breathes well, lots of head room, quality seams, sturdy poles, easy to assemble, nice color, "bowl" flooring is terrific, rain fly keeps tent dry, would sleep 3-4 comfortably...when compared to 6p Insta Cabin, it's less expensive, is much lighter, not nearly as hot, breathes better, but is more timely to assemble and take down

Very good quality. Used for one two weeks in the up of Michigan. My family has a small vacation house and we stayed up there, but there was no bedroom for me my husband and two dogs. The inside is plenty big for 4 pople. We had our dogs, a king size matress pad, and our suit cases inside. It had gotten below 50° at night and we had to run a cord from the house to our tent to use a heats blanket. Definitely a summer tent. Holds up really well in rain. We got about 4 days of rain and the only water in the tent was from us coming in and out of the tent. However the last morning we were there a huge rain storm blew across the lake and the rain was falling sideways. The tent got soaked because the wind was so strong it blew up te rain fly and rain poured though the screens. Also I would recommend buying better ground steaks and a hammer to put them in the ground. In the up the ground is soft and those steaks pull right out (also part of the reason we got soaked in the bad rain storm). It also was able to handle 20mph winds. I wouldn't recommend using it regularly where it is very windy, but worst comes to worst and you should be okay. Also very easy to set up as long as you have enough space. Requires two people to set up and bring the rain fly over simply because of its shear size. I gave it 5 stars because it doesn't come with very good ground steaks. Very breezy and cool when you have the rain fly off. At night when it was 75° we were very comfortable. Although the tent lacks privacy without the rain fly.

Great tent!
I just set this tent up in the backyard and am pleasantly surprised how easy it was to set up and take down without any assistance, and no directions! I wanted to set it up before I took it camping in a few weeks and it is so roomy with plenty of room to stand up! Hopefully it will hold up to the windand any rain we might encounter.

No faith in the poles.
Would have been 5 stars if not for the fact one of the bungee cords snapped the second time we used it. The legs fell apart from the center connecting hub. Really too bad as this tent had a lot of good things going for it. Price was right, great ventilation, nice center height, and did set up easily after I threaded the cord back through the legs. That took about 30 to 45 minutes. It also stood up to some pretty good winds the first night we were in it. Just can't trust the legs to stay together now that one of the cords inside is about 8 inches shorter. I have a 8x7 Coleman insta tent with the telescopic poles and I really like it. Going to try and find the 6 persone version of it.

Our brand-new tent's poles were destroyed by 20mph winds, which are far weaker than their purported capability of 35mph+ winds supposedly survivable by "WeatherTec" tents. Coleman refused to replace the poles. That being said, the tent did set up quickly as advertised for the one time we used it. No tent in our experience fits the number of purported people. This one just fit two adults and a 7- and 10- year old, with two clothing bags total.Caveat emptor.UPDATE:This tent comes with a one-year warranty. When we asked Coleman about how that applied to the poles destroyed by the wind, they said "Acts of God would include the weather. We cannot control what the weather does and unfortunately, it does not get covered under the warranty."So... is sunlight fading the fabric covered? It would seem an Act of God, because sunlight. What about the fabric ripping? Our guess is not, because u/v weakens the fabric, and we all know u/v light is an Act of God. How about actually keeping you dry when it rains? Well, rain is an Act of God too, so we would guess the warranty does not cover that either.So. Great warranty "out" that Coleman's got there, isn't it?

Hot pile of meh.
We bought this tent for summer camping. First off, it is HEAVY for being so compactly stored. We used it for car camping, so not a big deal. Secondly, as we built the tent, the poles were creaking. I imagine that with wind during set up the poles would have cracked. Truthfully, the "quick method" of having the poles already attached, really wasn't worth the extra weight. It saved two minutes maybe, especially if you have set up a two pole tent before. Once it was up, we started putting in the mattresses. We wanted to use three twin mattresses across. The description states that the floor is 120"x120" and fits two queen mattresses. The 120" includes the rise of the tub floor, so we could just barely fit 114" of mattresses across the floor and even then they were against the sides of the tent. We did not use the fly, as it was 75 degrees at 9 pm. I thought with all of the mesh there would be a breeze. Unfortunately, the fabric is so high on the wall, that when you are laying five inches off the ground there is no breeze to be felt. The only way for us to feel any air was to stand. I will say that this would be a great tent with 50 degree lows on a starry night if you are car camping. It was pleasant not needing a separate ground tarp or footprint. The mesh gear holder was also a plus, it managed to hold a heavy iPad securely, so we could all lie down and watch a movie. If I camped once in awhile, this tent might get three or four stars, but we camp often. I would recommend just buying a discounted Kelty or Eureka! for vastly better quality for a $20 price bump.
