As always with Schluter, it's a quality product...
At first glance, these Kerdi inserts seem a bit expensive.However, they save time over having to custom build out wall inserts, are perfectly designed, and easy to install; as a result, I always use them.If you're on the fence about purchasing, don't be - just buy it.

Makes having a niche easy
These are amazing and easy to install making a niche a cinch. I do think Schluter products in general are overpriced, which is my only complaint.

Water proof and easy in between studs installation. One less trip to depot thanks to prime delivery.

Good product. But it's expensive, like all specialty construction items. Is anything associated with a DIY tiling project ever "easy to use" or "easy to install"? Rarely. But this worked as it should and we "got 'er done."

Worked great -as an FYI doesn't hold a lot, although it is 6 inches high, once you add tile it cuts down the height. Perfect for bar of soap or razor though.
