I shopped around alot it was so annoying so I compared and read reviews and this seemed to be my best bet. It’s sturdy, nice solid cage. Black clean look. Nice width of wires. My cat CANNOT escape and wreak havoc. It was so easy to assemble, I do recommend two people. One to put together and the other to clap! 👏🏽

These cages are so nice I came back and bought a second one!! It takes two people to put them together so one person holds it up while the other person snaps it together. Nothing hard about it. Takes less than 5 minutes. I use mine on the front porch for my cats little vacation time away from the inside world during the day only. Never leave cats outside in this cage AT NIGHT! It wasn’t designed for that because a wild animal like a raccoon will go after food in the cage possibly attacking your cat then rabies could happen. A raccoon can put its little hands through this cage. I use mine outside during the day under my watchful eye by our front door. It’s nighttime predators that you should be concerned about. You would need a cage with tighter wiring for night. Like screen. Totally great for indoor use and attractive!! Sturdy. We used pliers to tighten the snaps. We will be moving in a bit so it’s very easy to take apart and fold. You can also decorate it any way you like! It’s so cute and it’s large!!! Enough space for the litter box. It’s also really easy to clean!!! I just lift the shelves out easily and put them in my tub and wash and spray them down so there’s never an odor or hair! Wipe dry.Or you could use the water hose or simply wipe it down. Easy peasy!!! I’m getting ready to roll one into the back bedroom for 3 feral kittens that I have to chase down and catch! Yes it has wheels that have brakes!! Everybody’s happy!! My babies love it!! And if my babies are happy then Mama’s happy!!! It keeps my kittens from jumping all over my better half as well!! lol. Great buy!! Twice!!! Will purchase another one after we move. These cages have definitely made my life easier. : )

8/22/20:Update: This is working great for kitten who is now about 5 months old. We got a scratching post that can be attached to the wall so he's got something to scratch on (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078NRWCH1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1; thanks for those posting images with reviews - these have helped identify options!). He uses it every time he wakes up & just before he comes out and it's saving the furniture. And it's holding up well and attaches very well to the cage.He eats, drinks, uses the litter box, and sleeps in this thing. We put a hammock up top a couple days after setting this up and he took to that immediately. He's very content in the cage.6/10/20: We got this for a kitten as a replacement for a dog carrier (solid sided) so it would have more room & vertical space. Thank you to those who answered our questions - it helped us decide on this product.4 out of 5 stars for some minor fit/finish issues.This arrived & went up easily with two people. It is a heavy box. There are no instructions as others have mentioned but it's pretty intuitive once you get started. Just watch your fingers as you fold it out & snap it together and double check that you've got all the hooks done up. It's a single piece that's folded on itself (which we like). It's really quite ingenious how it works.We secured each side at four points with cord-wrap velcro strips for extra security (see photo). The two month old kitten cannot get through any of the openings. The slots are two fingers wide max (see photo).The shelves go on sturdily and the trays are well thought out & fit securely. One tray was cracked (see photo) and I contacted Amazon and they had a replacement tray on it's way to me within 15 minutes. Great customer service.We did have one bend in one wire on top (see photo). It's not a structural problem, but is annoying, but not worth sending back & hoping the next one has no worse issues based on reviews.The bottom tray has some dings in (see photo), maybe from shipping based on the linear pattern, but again, they don't seem more than cosmetic. If that changes, will update the review.We are happy with the door locks & they could be secured beyond the latches if desired (e.g., a carabiner, velcro, etc.). The top latch mechanism does appear a little worn (see photo), although the enclosure does not appear used. Likely finish wear from shipping.We did not put the casters on so can't speak to that aspect at this time.We are letting the kitten get used to the enclosure for a few days before using it as an enclosed area unsupervised. Will update when we have more use info.
