Great product, very overdue. I use this to isolate my starboard starting battery from the house bank with an ACR to ensure consistent charging. Completely eliminates the need for flipping batteries throughout the day. Just set it to "on" and forget it.

This was a direct replacement for my previous - and working properly - Blue Sea 1-2-Both-Off switch common to many boats.It's much simplified, and was recommended - even though my existing switch was fine - by the marine electrician who surveyed our boat's setup during our replacement of our massive battery bank. It fit exactly where my previous switch had been.There are two studs for each battery; ordinarily you'd just leave it in the '1' position; the other shows as 'emergency start' on their instruction page, but it merely puts both batteries on the same circuit. The charging circuit from your alternator is always live to the second battery; turning the switch to the yellow-labeled position bridges the charging and discharge lines for the two batteries. Likewise, of course, the '1' position also has continuity all the time between whatever charging sources you may have, and whatever destination your power will arrive in; they show a panel icon to indicate that arrival point.Very simple, and the usual robust quality you expect from Blue Sea products.

Great switch that is the beginning and end of all my lake adventures. I have a dual battery setup on my pontoon boat. The start battery is isolated from my house battery so I don't have to worry about playing music all day and not having juice to start up at the end of the day. Great product, easy instructions. Use good wire and connections and you will probably love it too.

This works well and is much cheaper than most of the competition. I was actually recommended this from a friend of mine who builds boats. It is less than half of the price that the dealership quoted me on. I had a friend install in. So all in all I paid about 1/5 the price of quoted parts and labor that the dealership quoted me.

Always great products

This is a great switch. The dual circuit design allow me to switch both the engine electrical and the "house" electrical on at the same time and still keep them isolated. In refurbishing my boat, I isolated the house wiring from the engine wiring so I could consume the battery power overnight and not worry about starting the engine in the morning. This switch made that possible. The plus feature allows both to be combined in an extraordinary situation or for charging. My issue in the past has been I would forget to isolate the batteries and end up running both down. So this is used normally in the off or on position only. I also installed the Blue Sea Systems E series automatic charging relay to let the boat maintain the battery charges without any intervention. Was able to test this after using a 110v converter to watch TV and Blu Ray movie long enough to run down the house battery. Engine started and charge its battery for a few minutes and then the house battery was added and began to rapidly charge. I can't mess up now.

Me gusto mucho el producto, se siente de buena calidad. Lo he utilizado para conectar dos motores Evinrude ETEC G2 200 HO a dos baterias. Me da la posibilidad de interrumpir la conexion para evitar que se desacrguen las baterias cuando no lo uso, puedo activar una bateria para cada motor y ademas puedo unir la potencia de las dos baterias para el arranque en caso que alguna de las baterias tuviera poca carga. MUY RECOMENDADO. Se puede realizar una instalacion al raz, dejando todo el cableado por dentro, lo que me gusto mucho, dando un acabado mas limpio y ordenado.
