This bag is just the right size. My laptop fits nicely inside and the bag provides good protection. I like the zippered front pocket where I can store the charging cable, pens and pencils, and other small items. I'm pleased with this purchase.

Nicely padded, I was looking for a vertical way to carry my iPad Pro 12.9 cross body. It fits my device perfectly, with a roomy front pocket for accessories like an Apple Pencil, charger, glasses, and cleaning cloth.

As the title notes, this is being used to carry a Dell XPS 13-inch laptop. Laptop is 12 x 8 inches and fits easily with about 1-inch space on each dimension (H and W). Compartment depth is a little over an inch. Interior of the main compartment is moderately padded and is lined with a nylon-type material that shouldn’t scratch the device. The main compartment box has a pair of hard (plastic?) panels of some kind inside that make the compartment fairly rigid, providing additional protection to the laptop. The outside is made from a durable-looking cloth-type nylon that should shed water pretty well and be durable long-term. A single nylon zipper with metal hardware opens it up.The front (and smaller) compartment is the same width as the main compartment but 4-1/2 inches shorter. It’s 1-1/4 inch deep, and has three pockets inside: two for pens and one 5-1/2 inches wide that can hold a phone, a small note pad, or plane tickets. The compartment easily holds the charging block and cable for the laptop plus a small USB-C hub multiport adapter and an assortment of other short USB-C adapters (card reader, HDMI, USB-A. etc.). There’s room left over for the shoulder strap when it’s not being used.The shoulder strap is OK but functional. A rubber-type strip keeps it on your shoulder, but it’s not going to be comfortable for long walks or if used in a cross-strap mode. All the hardware is metal, though, should at least it won’t fall apart in use. The bag has dual handles that do not velcro together, but they are comfortable for carrying.Some weirdness though: the rear of the case has a 6 x 7 inch horizontal see-through pocket. A little big for a business card, so not really sure what it's meant for, especially since the opening does not close.Finally, one thing to look for on this is price. It has varied from the low $30 range to (at present) $47 on Amazon. Well worth the price at <$35.Overall a good case to protect your investment.
