This would not be considered a dive style watch. Even though it does have a 60 minute scale running around the bezel insert, the bezel is not a functional, uni-directional rotating bezel, like the type use in diving as a timing mechanism. As well, this model does not have a screw down crown, and as such, only provides for 100 meters of water resistance. Not the minimum 200 meters required to be classified as a dive grade instrument. 100 meters however is sufficient enough for shallow swimming, as well as recreational water sports. This model does have an impressive presentation as an over all package for it's price. Definitely one of the better in this price bracket, but not a technical "dive watch" per se.

It's original, but if you are looking for a great quality Invicta watch,,, this is not it... But don't get me wrong,,, it's worth the price...
