For someone that gets painful knots in my back, these things are amazing! Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys a good deep tissue massage because of knots in their back. The handle allows you to really manipulate where the hard rubber golf ball and situates on your back which makes it really easy to get it in the exact spot you need!

I’ve been working on breathing with a book by Carola Speads, Breathing: The ABCs. It’s an old classic. Part of the “breathing experiments” call for tapping different areas of the rib cage, and waiting to see how the breath responds to the stimulus. She touts a Japanese back tapper to reach areas on the back. I was not able to find this item. I had another back tapper with heavier rubber balls on a metal strip. Never liked it - a little awkward to use. THIS item is light, with just the right amount of spring. Intuitively easy to use.

Saw this in an Asian shop years ago, so glad I found it. Wish the handle was longer though.

Amazing! I’ve got all kinds of Massage balls and rollers and other implements, but these things provide that satisfying whack and thump that feels so good! A gentle little swing provides a lot of impact, so you don’t need to use much energy. The spring design is really smart. It allows for a lot of power and accuracy, versus something on a stick or a rope. I hope these last, but the fact that you don’t need to swing them very hard means they’re not taking much abuse when you use them. I highly recommend these.

I've been a licensed Massage Therapist for 12years now. Now, I do own a massage gun( w the 4head attachments) which I don't always feel like hauling with me. But these little golf ball tools that I overlooked years ago, well I'm glad I bought them. Light weight, convenient, quiet usage. Doing tapotement technique, is very effective to increase blood flow which moves the pain. Helps on the daily along with stretching and epsum salt baths, that in-between time before getting my next masssge.

Needed something like this to loosen my shoulder muscles . Can reach my shoulder blades, too. Does the job.

Love these, sore muscles? Bong away and the muscle releases.

These works good on my back. I can reach around and hit my spots that I need to hit. Gets the job done when no one will give you a massage.
