Does this product work better or faster than other activated charcoal products or is it a name brand that makes it so much more expensive?

If you compare dosing to other brands and look at how many capsules you have to take to equal this one, it seems to be worth the extra expense. I have to take 1000mg per day and really not interested in taking more than 2 capsules to achieve that. I wish they'd offer more than they do per bottle so I don't have to reorder so often but my functional nutritionist who is VERY picky about the brands he uses recommended this one.

What is the shelf life? I only plan to take it for stomach upsets, so could I keep a bottle in the cupboard for a year or so?

According to Bulletproof, the shelf life is 4 to 6 years. Great stuff!

Why and how does it make your teeth whiter?

I do not use it on my teeth, just put in capsules and take it that way to remove toxins from my body (gut)

I use it for bloating/gassiness.. works great! I also use it for after drinking alcohol, soak up toxins after a night out. 
