Q: How do I remove the old one? Are they glued or clipped into place?

Hi, In my application (Elddis caravan light fitting) the switch is retained by metal lugs formed from the light housing, it is not glued into place. The plastic saddles you see either end of the switch have slots in them which the metal lug sits in. To remove the switch you will see next to where the wires go into the switch is a smaller hole, if you push a small blunt pin into this hole it pushes back the contact and allows the wire to release. After you have carefully eased the metal mounting lugs back the switch can be removed from it mounting plate. Refitting is reverse of above, you just push the wires back into their original holes and the contacts will grip them again. Hope this helps.
