Cute toy, not for the rough kids
Baby loved to play with this but:Battery wears down quickly simply because babies and kids will hold it down excessively.Opening on bottom will snap off eventually because after a while, it won’t stay closedI would still suggest this toy, but know it will breakdown in a few months, depending on how your kid handles it. (Mine banged it around).

Perfect for the toddler with a vacuum obsession.
Our little guy loves this. We had got another brand and it played music that drove us nuts. This one is great.

Perfect toy for little helpers
The Casdon Dyson Cordless Vacuum is an absolute hit with kids! It looks just like the real Dyson and is perfect for little ones who love to copy what they see grown-ups doing. The interactive features make it feel so realistic—there’s actual suction, and the colorful beads inside spin around, which keeps kids totally engaged. It’s lightweight, easy to handle, and the perfect size for toddlers. Great for encouraging imaginative play and helping them feel involved in daily routines. My child absolutely loves it and plays with it every day!The only minor downside is that the sound can be a little loud, but honestly, it’s nothing too overwhelming and hasn’t taken away from how much fun it brings.Highly recommend for ages 3 and up—it’s fun, durable, and a great value!

Realistic, great size, all fun
My daughter loves this toy. She’s 14 months and is obsessed with vacuuming. Her hand is still a little too small that she struggles to pull the suction button, but she can do it by herself. The size is perfect and it’ll even give room for her to grow into it. We love how it actually sucks some stuff up and she gets excited to dump it in the garbage. We love the little attachments too, it makes for more realistic play, although as of her age, she needs help assembling them. The battery seems to last a long time as it gets used daily in our house. The only issue we have with it, is that it doesn’t stand upright at all 90 degree angle. You do have to lean it against something which can be annoying. Other than that, it’s great and we’re so glad we got it for her. All and all so glad we got this, it’s great for mommy’s helpers and makes a realist noise and there’s no music or annoying voices!

Great If It’s Working; Needs Re-work/QA
This is a great product for kids who want to mimic mom and dad cleaning, but also need a replica that not only works, but has a bit more oomph to the pretend suction power (read: motor speed/loudness).HOWEVER… this product could use some serious quality assurance by actual kids. A simple change would make all the difference if they want their intended demographic to be happy. I don’t know why they made one absurd choice in a “feature”.The button that turns on the motor isn’t an on/off switch. You don’t just click the button to turn the vacuum on like EVERY OTHER VACUUM IN THE WORLD - real or replica. The harder you press the button, the faster the motor goes. Wh…. Just… what? WHY?!After thinking about it as much as I have been forced to think about it, I’ve realized this is, quite possibly, the single worst feature I have ever seen on a toy. (I am trying to restrain myself from saying anything too harsh so I don’t get my review rejected, but this single ridiculous choice has caused my son so very many tears and I’m pretty upset about that.)My son is crazy about vacuums. I believe we have about every model of toy vacuum that says it “really works”. This toy, when we first got it, had the best “suction” out of all his toy vacuums and he LOVED it. It was a handheld AND it sounded like a real vacuum? Say whaaat? He was in heaven. All his other vacuums disappeared in his mind. Then the batteries ran out. Then they ran out again. Then again. I bought rechargeable batteries because this thing was EATING batteries. But, hey, if it works, then it makes my son happy, so I am happy and I will deal with it.Then, one day, not long after I got it - maybe two weeks or so, my boy said, “nee’ ba’wy, daddy.” So I replaced the batteries and handed it back to him. “Nee’ ba’wy, daddy!” Really? Huh. Weird. I checked the charge and the batteries were fine. I tested the toy and it seemed to work fine, so I handed it back to him. He tried it and immediately looked at me like I had lost my mind and asked for batteries again. I told him that it doesn’t need batteries… and he threw the biggest fit I have ever seen. This toy that he loved more than all his other toys combined was still working, but it had stopped working *for him*.Just like every other toy, playing with it caused the moving parts to wear out. Now, for a grown man the button still works just fine, but because it’s a variable button instead of a switch, and the button is wearing out, and my son is a toddler, the vacuum seems to be constantly running out of batteries to him. His toddler fingers no longer have the strength to depress the button the entire way, so, in his mind, this thing that used to be his jackpot win, now is just a source of emotional pain: he can see that it works, but HE can’t make it work.Seriously… who thought that was a good idea? A variable motor in a kids vacuum that could maybe pick up a piece of cereal at full speed? It’s absolutely absurd.I’m giving it three stars because this WAS the best toy vacuum he owned and he loved it. I almost bought another one, but… it would just happen again. And another toy vacuum that “really works” showed up soon after my son sadly retired this one, so he has long forgotten it.Make the button a switch. I might buy another.

Toddler loves it but the power button does jam.
Toddler loves it! I had family members think it was a real Dyson! I gave it 4 stars because after a week my toddler somehow jammed the power button. It feels a bit flimsy so I was not surprised when it started to break. We were able to fix it by tapping the side of the vacuum and it occasionally jams. My toddler is still a huge fan!
