Orange Whip
Works well and as described. Ingrains tempo and a smooth swing. The counter balance allows the wrists to work correctly as they would in the golf swing. Not cheap, but better than the Amazon alternative.

Great for strength and flexibility!
This a a great training aid to help keep your swing plane and rhythm in check, while also helping gain maximum flexibility through your swing. I’m a lady golfer in my mid 50’s and have been experiencing sciatica back issues for the past 3 years. Since the flare ups, I’ve limited my workout routines and and have guarded my back because the pain is debilitating. Thus, my strength and flexibility have waned and my golf game has suffered. A few years ago, an older friend shared her Orange Whip with me and I really liked it but at the time didn’t feel it was needed. Well, I’ve reached a point where my flexibility has become an issue so I ordered the Orange Whip and am loving how it has helped my swing in such a short time. I’ve been swinging it for a few minutes 1-2x a day and also during my pre-golf warm up. It’s so nice to fully swing the club and not get all bound up trying to boss the golf ball around. It also helps with core strength and keeping my hands and wrists in proper position during my swing, as I have a bad habit of cocking my wrists as soon as I take the club back. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone who has lost flexibility, core and wrist strength in their golf game.

The original. Great whippy feel. Made in USA.
I bought both the Orange Whip Golf Swing Trainer and the Amazon Basics Golf Swing Trainer in order to compare and decide which one, if any, to keep. So I am going to do this review as a comparison between the two.First, these are both great products. You would probably be happy with either one. Here's a rundown on things to think about, and the winner in each category.Price: The Orange Whip is nearly three times the cost of the Amazon Basics. Winner: Amazon BasicsLength: This is probably less of a data thing and more of a feel thing. The Orange Whip is 47" long; Amazon Basics is 48". My driver (Taylor Made Qi10 Max) is 47". Marginal winner: Orange WhipGrip: The Amazon Basics has a very traditional, textured rubber golf grip. The Orange Whip's grip looks and feels more like a leather wrapped grip, even though it is actually rubber. No winner. Depends on what you like.Whippiness and Swing Feel: The Amazon Basics' shaft is much thicker and less flexible than the Orange Whip's. This gives the Orange Whip a "whippier" feel, and gives you better feedback when you are not swinging smoothly. Winner: Orange WhipGrip end. The Orange Whip has a white counter weight at the grip end, which contributes a lot to its feel when swinging. Winner: Orange Whip.Instructions: The Amazon Basics comes with a nice instruction sheet. The Orange Whip comes with a brochure to sell you other products, with a QR code on it taking you to a website with the opportunity to subscribe (1st month free) to what I think is a rather expensive monthly subscription of training videos. No other instructions. Winner: Amazon BasicsManufacture Country: Amazon Basics is China. Orange Whip is USA. Winner: Orange WhipIn the end, the feel of it was the deciding factor for me. I just felt the Orange Whip gave me more feedback when swinging, both on the backswing and the main stroke. I just like the feel of it with its counter weight in the handle.I returned the Amazon Basic and kept the Orange Whip. Then I was able to change the grip on the Orange Whip to my Jumbo Soft Golf Pride CSX, which are the same as what I have on my clubs. I was worried about that because of the size of the screw end which hold the counter weight on, but I was able to use a 1/2" drill bit to make the hole in my grip larger, and get it on without any problems.

Good exercise tool
Have had this for a few days. I have done the exercises often and used it for warm up before playing; not bad. The shaft is quite flexible. My wrists have been sore for a couple of days now. I believe that is because every swing requires wrist interaction of some sort. I like the exercises and the worked out muscle feel from this fairly specific trainer, but believe the head weight is too high for my purposes (strength and flexibility improvements).I saw a lot of asked and unanswered questions about 47 or 43.5 inch versions. I am 5'7" and don't have trouble with the 47", although I do believe that my height is very near the bottom end for this length. 43 would probably serve my purposes just as well. If you're trying to decide, the weight (1.7 vs 1.6 lbs) may matter more than the length. While I like the exercises and feel for warm up, only time will tell if this really does help.On a separate note, I ordered the lightspeed version because the head is about ~30% lighter and it will give me a feel for the 43" model. The weight is currently my only real complaint. Would like to blame it for my recent golf game problems, but that's another story (smiling). Having experienced the full size, this one really seems like a better place to start. 1.7 lbs isn't a lot.....until you put it about four feet away on a very flexible pole.....

Great warm-up tool
I use this before every golf outing and has significantly helped with training in how I swing my driver and swing tempo.

Good product
Great product.

Great pre-round warmup.
Great for stretching/loosening up at the course. Hasn't helped my game much, since I still apparently stink. 😂
User
Product does help improve golf swing tempo
The product does what it advertises, and is helping with my swing.I would however do 1 thing differently - get the smaller size. The stick for someone my height is a fraction longer than my driver. I would rather use it to practice irons, so should have got the shorter option.

Zwiespältig…..
Zum Aufwärmen gut, für mein Techniktraining ungeeignet.

Will help improve tempo and lower body rotation
I have only had the orange whip for about 6 weeks. Using it three to four times a week I have noticed a natural shift into better lower body rotation. I didn’t realize before I started to use it how little I was using my lower body and when I did how out of sync it was on my timing. The delay at the top of the backswing from the whip action gives your lower body the time to start to move first. I gave it four stars on value based on there being similar units out there for much less. My tempo and lower body movement improvement make this one of the better training aids I have tried. I definetly recommend this.

Excellent swing tempo aid
I found this golf swing aid helped me to obtain a good swing tempo which helped my tee off drives in particular.

Un vrai plus.
Cet outil vous permet de libérer votre swing et d'adapter votre plan de swing aussi bien pour le backswing que le finish. Vous apprend à laisser jouer la tête de club. excellent pour s'échauffer en rythme.
