An enticing hint of Latin dark roast combines with a smoky flavor and smooth finish for a smooth, full-bodied cup of coffee. These single-pods are 100% compostable. The patented filter allows the water to completely saturate the coffee grounds - producing a richer taste and releasing the full aroma of your brewing coffee.Boyd’s Coffee single-serve coffees will work in brewers that accept K-Cup® portion packs, excluding Keurig® 2.0 brewers. And our single pods are BPI certified compostable, which means they meet the stringent standards of the Biodegradable Products Institute as a completely compostable product. When you want a coffee that has a rich, bold, smooth flavor AND is good for the environment, Boyd's is the only name you need to know.

Meh
I really wanted to like this coffee for a number of reasons, namely the compostable cup component. It ended up making a mess of my Keurig and a ton of grounds were in my mug, which is one of the reasons I went Keurig to begin with! Also, each compostable “cup” is double packaged in a plastic wrapper which I get is for coffee freshness, but how is that any better than a regular k-cup?

The pods are a terrible design
The flavor is GOOD! The pods as I have stated in another review are of poor design! I have NO problem with any other single serve package. These do not puncture properly and the bottom fibers are not the same on each pod so you get different coffee results each cup. The worst design in the single serve industry. They should quit trying to save the world one cup at a time and make a real K-CUP that works, like the flavor but not worth the hassle.

Good Coffee, disappointing packaging
This is less a review of the coffee taste and more for the packaging. This is a compostable k-cup that is individually wrapped in a non-recyclable/compostable (as far as I can tel) package. It feels a bit silly to spend the money on a compostable pod only to have individual wrappings around each k-cup. I hope there are other offerings that don't have this issue.

Least environmentally conscious option out there
If you think you’re being environmentally conscious and ordering a compostable cup, think again. Each of these cups is individually wrapped in plastic. I suppose the purpose is to maintain freshness, but it definitely doesn’t make any sense for a company with compostable cups.

Good coffee in natural pods, individually wrapped.
It’s good coffee in the fabric pods I prefer and individually wrapped in plastic pouches. I usually carry bulk pods in reusable containers to reduce waste, but these are good to keep longer term, at the office, for example.

Good Coffee, Bad Packaging
I bought these pods because they promise to be compostable. However, they are individually wrapped in plastic bags that cannot be recycled which defeats the purpose of purchasing them to be environmentally conscious. Coffee is good, packaging is still wasteful. I have bought a smaller pack at my local grocery store that was wrapped in a single and resealable bag that I preferred much more.

My favorite coffee
Love the dark roast flavor, nice and bold but not bitter or overpowering. I buy it on subscription because I like it so much. I use it in my Keurig and haven't had any problems with it.

Coffee lover's dream
I discovered this coffee on a business trip but waited to brew it at home. This is the best no acidic impact but potent enough to keep me alert.i shared a box with co workers who enjoyed the experience of great coffee with me. Decaf is equally great a keeper, and my second order
