coffee grinder electric (12cup)

I purchased this unit on DEC 18, 2018. It was more costly than the other coffee bean grinders, that were being sold on Amazon. But I liked the features and this was before this unit was going to self-destruct on many buyers of this product.So a few months after purchase the unit is stopping and starting. Before I go further I would like to add that I used this unit very little. I drink 2 cups of coffee a day, that's it. Also I like a mix of different kinds of coffee. So quite often I would go to another brand, which was almost always pre-ground. BUT I do like fresh coffee and I bought here on Amazon, a storage container made for storing coffee and keeping it fresh. I would grind up the beans but I would leave the grounded coffee in the stainless steel bowl of the HOMGEEK Grinder. I'd take what I need. That would last me about the whole week, but usually more. After that bowl was empty I'd use a different pre-grounded coffee for awhileAfter a few months I'm having problems. Homgeek told me to "toy" around with it and it should start. I'd take off bowl, makes sure no beans jamming. Plug it then unplug unit. It was always kept clean, so no issues there. About 2 months ago, it stopped working altogether. So I contact Homgeek, "no reply" I try again and again same thing "nothing" no response from HOMGEEK. After around 5 weeks, I tell them that I intend to do a review on them of "what they deserve". OH, I get a reply Homgeek they ask "whats the matter?" "I've already mentioned that but I tell them again" That is the last I've heard from them.Look; I am not an unreasonable person, I gave them the choice to; repair it, replace it or refund it. Honor your warranty. I have not heard anything further from Homgeek. This said; "1 Year Warranty". This unit broke well before the warranty. I did not get my money of what I put into this machine. BUT THE MOST AGGRAVATING IS TO BE IGNORED AND NOT HONOR YOUR WARRANTY. They use a warranty claim to help sell the unit. But when it's to do the right thing, I get ignored. I'd never buy from them again " QUESTIONABLE OR POOR QUALITY AND THEY DON'T BACK IT UP. Buy from them? I cant trust Homgeek!

Returned this after first use. We were making a full 12 cup percolator pot of coffee. Filled the beans in this grinder to the 12 cup mark, set the grind to coarse, and pushed the start button. Simple and easy to use. However the machine cycles and by design stops and then restarts to allow all the beans to get to the chopping blade. The dissappointing thing is that at the end of the cycle, there were still at least a dozen or more beans completely unground. We could’ve run another cycle but that would‘ve resulted in the grinds being too fine for the percolator.I wound up purchasing a different brand of grinder at the same price point as this machine that is a burr grinder instead of a blade design. Don’t waste your money on this model; get a decent burr grinder instead if you require a consistent size of your grinds.

I found a blend of coffee that I really like, a number of years ago. The problem is that my local Safeway only had the ground version in stock about half the time and I'd have to buy something else.. They always have the whole bean version in stock, however.About a month ago, I decided to buy a coffee grinder that would solve the problem. After looking at the Homgeek grinder page on Amazon, I thought this looked like the best grinder to buy, or at least try.This is one great coffee grinder!! In the grinder cup is a scale to show how many beans to add for the number of cups of coffee you're going to brew. Add the beans to that level, set the selector on the front for the same number of cups, select the grind you want (from coarse to fine) and hit the start button. The grinder will automatically stop when the correct grind has been reached!I was amazed the first time I used it to find out how much more flavorful the coffee is when using fresh ground beans.!!Regardless of price, don't think you can find any better grinder than the Homgeek. Highly recommend!!!

I really wanted to like this coffee grinder. It was the perfect size for my needs since I only make coffee for myself. I didn't want a larger and more expensive burr grinder. I currently use a small Krupps grinder and I'm fine with the grind quality except I didn't like how awkward it was to pour the ground coffee into the filter having to tilt the whole grinder. I liked how this grinder had a removable cup. Unfortunately with this grinder the ground coffee does not stay in the cup. The clear cap does not seal off the top of the metal cup and ground coffee leaks around it and down into the grinder itself as it's being ground - and this is while only grinding enough coffee for a 5 cup coffee maker in the auto drip setting.There were also some quality control issues: The grinder arrived with one of the rubber feet missing. They seem to pop out very easily. But the major issue is that the grinder completely stopped working in 2 weeks. I'm sending it back and have not asked for a replacement.

I also bought this coffee pot last month, used it mostly for the weekend. I like the solid made and easy clean of the stainless steel. Like to recommend it as well.I bought this grinder several weeks ago and have been using it every morning. Very easy to use and it will automatic stop after job done (I only used manual ones before). The cover and grinder part is easy to take off for cleaning. The cord can be twisted into the grinder but I mostly leave it outside. Good product and I like to recommend it.

I apparently wasn't paying attention when I ordered this. I really wanted a burr grinder, one that I could load and just grind what I needed as needed. Oh well. This one works well and is easier to use and clean than my old one. Next time I will read more closely.

The design is very thoughtful, different amount of quantity with different working level to make sure you get fine and smooth powder. And it works very fast, also easy to clean. My mom also use it to grind black sesame seeds. The sesame seed powder with some milk and honey, that is a very nice desert!
