My daughter and I had just completed a different brand sewing kit and she wanted to keep working on her skills and find another kit. This kit had 4 projects, so I was planning to use these to start working on teaching all my children to sew. I am not skilled at sewing, so I needed something simple! The reviews were outstanding for this item, so it seemed perfect.The box contained no instructions and I messed up the first two. The problems were not horrible, but I sewed the cats head on before adding whiskers and then I had to try and add whiskers some how etc. My children were frustrated and so was I because I didn’t have any instructions to refer back to! I would have expected more from a $20 purchase. These looked more like the type of item you would purchase individually at the dollar spot.I felt I needed to write this review because all the other reviews were so positive and that is why I made this purchase.With some instructions this would have been a lot better and also at a slightly lower price.

I purchased this pack and the other one as well. It is great fun and we are still not finished with all 8 figures. They are cute and good quality, would recommend.

Bought it for my daughter. It's a really good kit to start teaching the basics of sewing. I believe the instructions have been just updated because it's colorful not black and white anymore, easy to follow. Very cute, colorful, great quality. I would recommend it for over age 6 or so.

I like it! Great size! There is no step by step guide how to make it, so couple times I had to think where and how and what order, but not brain surgery, and it turned out just great! Fun to make it!

I am a sewer and am teaching my 11 year old granddaughter. There are no directions and the small black and white page they sent was not clear. There should have been another color thread added to make the lion look better. There was no elephant like listed on the description. One eye was missing and they are to be glued.

This was a gift for my daughters birthday and she loved it! It was very simple but fun for her. However, this is not for someone who is beginning to sew. There are no instructions on how to do the stitches they recommend beyond a picture of the stitch, so i just showed her how to sew a regular stitch instead. Otherwise, its very easy and with the plastic needle i didn't have to worry about her doing it alone.

This is a really cute idea. The materials that come in it are top quality! It is easy to follow the new updated instructions. The plastic needle and the pre-punched holes make it a great intro to sewing for the little ones.

I bought this item as a birthday gift for my child and I honestly could not have chosen a better item. She has spent hours sewing with these. The item arrived in record time and was in a lovely package. The instructions in the pack were clear enough for my 6 year old to follow. I would definitely recommend this item very highly to anybody and will definitely be buying more from this seller.

I bought this for my 5 year old niece and she has loved putting these together, the product is well packaged and the animals are separated into single projects keeping them tidy and easy to make. Everything comes included that is required including, needles and foam for stuffing with clear instructions for making them and how to stitch correctly. With a choice of 2 different packs to buy these will keep my niece busy for some time. Fast Shipping, I would recommend this product and seller.

Really like how each animal/project is seperated but there are no detailed instructions of what stitches you should use where or pictures included so I found myself referring back to the amazon pictures - - not helpful. And then there were the missing parts. Sadly the cat was the first one we tried to do and the ears were missing.

I found the product very disappointing. The first animal I came to complete with my 7 year old Grandson there were pieces missing. I had bought it for my Grandson's birthday, so we couldn't complete it. It was difficult to do the holes didn't match up and certainly difficult for a child, he got bored. I returned the item and wouldn't recommend it.
