Adds to Smoked Flavor
I used this on some salmon that I was smoking with alder. You might think this is overkill, but alder smoke is kind of mild, and sweeter than other smokes, so I just used this in lieu of regular salt to accentuate the alder flavor. It worked very nicely. I'm sure you could just use it by itself, without the actual alder smoke, but I haven't tried it like that yet. Next time.

So how did I live thus far without wine salt?! Oh my goodness, its yummy! Absolutely fabulous on grilled chicken and steak. Totally brings a meal up a notch, or 3.

Great smoky mesquite smell and taste. Great for rimming glasses for bloody Mary's. Some might be put off by the black color, but looks like pepper. Price was reasonable.
