3M Plastic and Emblem Adhesive, 08061, 5 oz Tube

This adhesive is really effective in holding emblems too a surface. My applications were to glue back on the Volvo steering wheel emblem that came off, was relied, but came off once again. I’ve postponed this job until spring because the glue does have limitations. The box states to use in a shaded area with temperature between 65-90F, which it’s not right now where I live in WA state. However, I had my Kohler kitchen sink emblem come off a few years ago and decided to try using this product on the heavy cast iron sink and it has worked beautifully. Just follow the easy directions and you’ll be very pleased with the results. It goes on easily and is clear color. It certainly feels durable.

I used this to secure the I on my Genesis GV70 that was partially hanging off. I probably should have taken it to the dealer but I did not want to mess with that for such a little thing. I live in hot and humid, Houston, TX so I needed an adhesive that was waterproof, heat proof and would not damage my car. It’s “winter” here right now so I cannot say how well it works when it is hot. It did hold up in the car wash though! I am hoping it can withstand 100+ degree temperatures in the summer time! This adhesive is sticky enough for what I needed it for. Good price for the size tube you get. 3M normally makes great products so I have high hopes.

This item works extremely well. It needs appropriate time to harden before washing the vehicle. Wear gloves when applying.

I'm using the 3M Plastic and Emblem Adhesive to glue some interior trim pieces from a 94 Land Cruiser back together that broke when I removed them. I'm very pleased with the product. It allows enough time for proper positioning and sets up in 10 - 15 minutes in a warm room.

Works like a charm and has held carbon pieces in place for my car without any issues for several months but mannnn is this is so freaking messy. It’s gooey, stringy, sticks everywhere and smells a bit. I highly recommend using paper towels to stop the string from getting everywhere because once it gets stuck on something, it is very very hard to get everything off.

I have a 2011 ford F-150 that i had gotten into an accident with and had to replace the front quarter panel. The repair shop had to glue my side emblems back on after painting. No problem until when I closed my door and one fell off, thankfully, in my driveway. I went to Ford to see if they sell just the backing, but found out they don't even make them anymore. Needless to say, this glue pretty much won't let my emblem come off now.

I bought this 3M Plastic and Emblem Adhesive to mount a brass doorknocker onto a metal door, and it worked really well for that purpose. The adhesive was easy to apply from the tube, and it gave me a strong, secure bond without needing to drill into the door. I was especially happy with how clean the application was. It held the brass piece firmly in place, and the finished result looks neat and professional. For a small project where I needed a dependable adhesive between metal surfaces, this did exactly what I needed. Overall, I’m very pleased with it and would recommend it for similar mounting or repair projects where you need a strong adhesive and want to avoid screws or extra hardware.

This works well however it is really runny. AND DO apply it then wait about 8-10 minutes then apply another thin layer before sticking the items together. It will dry rock hard.
