K&N Cold Air Intake System: High-Flow Air Filter, Increase Performance & Towing: Compatible with 2018-2025 JEEP, Gladiator, Wrangler, Wrangler JL, 63-1576

I have no mechanical experience changing anything out. I took a chance, and with the help of a few YT instructional vids, I was able to change this out. I am so happy with this install! The directions it came with were ok, but the videos found online helped more. Make sure you have all the right tools. You'll need: Trim removal tool Flathead screwdriver Adjustable wrench Sockets 10mm & 8mm Torx bits: T30, T20 Allen head: 5/32 Adaptors may be needed for the sockets Removing the old air intake was one of the main challenges I encountered. I had virtually no issues with installing the new one. Challenges were (I have a Jeep JL): Removing grill without scratching it on the aftermarket front bumper (I only had about a 3/4 of an inch gap to work with). Removing air intake air temperature sensor while being careful with it. Overall, I am very happy with this. It also makes my Jeep sound way better and a little meaner.

Love this CAI. Quality product and easy to install. The sound is much better than stock with a little more giddy up. MPG seemed to go up also.

It looks very good good construction, easy to install you feel the difference sounds very nice.

Dry CAI installed on '23 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Extreme Recon Pkg with 37", was getting 13.6mpg with a light foot before... NOW getting 15.4mpg first 50miles with a heavy foot. Have not noticed increase in HP. Sound is throatier and so far worth the money.

If you want to save gas and increase power or horsepower get a K&N cold air intake. Very easy to install. The instructions were spot on. If you're not sure there, are you tube videos available.

As far as I am concerned- Typical K&N-good products, built well, and does what they say it would. Very satisfied with it.

Make a huge difference on 3.6 Wrangler. The throaty sound is just perfect not too loud. Ive had a number of different intakes over time this has been the best one Ive purchased from the airflow to the sound and performance.

Update: I’ve had this for two years and it’s only gotten worse. The quality of the plastic is complete garbage. C’mon K&N, do better. Inexcusable for this amount of money. I’m lowering my review to one star, the metal inserts are completely pulling out of the plastic, I’d avoid this until the manufacturer can improve the design. Not hard to install but beware screwing in the air sensor port, cheap plastic on cheap plastic and snap. Would’ve cost the manufacturer another buck or two to do it right or better yet build it into the original mold or pre installed from the factory. I love the product but the design is very sub par.

I like the performance of the K&N cold air intake thus far. Cannot say it has given much better fuel improvement but it definitely improved the torque and HP, not to mention the low growl that comes out when you accelerate through the gears. The instructions could use a bit of improvement because the tolerances are so close one has to use alternative measures to get the box inserted into the rubber boots under the box itself. Also registering the unit through K&N was seamless, albeit still waiting for a response...Would definitely recommend if you have a Jeep and are running a 3.6l engine.

OMG WHAT A DIFF … mileage has improved I feel the torque diff as well as the HP. And the sound wow it sounds mean deep throated. Great purchase.

It doesn’t have sensor spot i had to make one by my self to fit the sensor in it!!!
