When my old square pan was finally showing too many signs of hard wear (after 20 years), I wanted a new one - researched and found this. Why did I wait so long?!? It's 11 inches, nonstick, cooks evenly and easily, super easy to clean and I couldn't be happier with the quality. Already recommending to family.

I have the entire set of blue diamond pans they are what I use in my kitchen for cook. I absolutely love them all. These pans clean easy, things don't stick to them, I don't use anything metal in my pans but I have had no issues with scratching if they rub up against one another in the cabinet. In my kitchen I find they are worth spending the money on for a good pan that is non stick. These are my preferred pans to use over any brand for nonstick. The only other thing I would buy over this is full stainless steel or cast iron which both can be very expensive for a good set. For this pan we like to use it for different things. It is big enough to cook a couple burgers on in the house, omelets, and even a couple small pancakes. Everything is always cooked evenly on the pan even with a gas stove. Great pan if you need a flat surface but don't want to pull on a larger griddle when you're only cooking for a few people in the evening. This pan and the entire line up heat quickly on the stove, but wear if you are using the entire set with the lids they are get hot same with some of the handles on. I use pot holders or silicone grips when cooking to avoid burning myself even more so with teaching my teen how to cook and him helping me in the kitchen. They also are a non stick pan so makes for easy clean up at the end of the night. You can throw them in the dishwasher if you want. I normally don't will just hand wash them doesn't take along and I haven't had any issues with even the stickiest of things holding tight to the sides of the pans. Just a little soap and a scrub mommy they come clean right away. The color is true to the picture and even to the box if you buy them in store for the set. The blue also doesn't seem to fade over time. Just over all a good griddle for little jobs.

Update 2023-01-09 Changing oil made no difference. Been using this griddle just about daily for over 2 months and there's not a spec of discoloration or gunk build up on it. Clean up has been dish soap and a micro fiber wash cloth. So far I'm very happy with it. Since the bottom is not terribly thick you just need to be wary of applying high heat. My last griddle was an expensive one from All-Clad. When the non-stick surface started to fail after 6 months I contacted All-Clad. Even though I had followed their directions they refused to honor the warranty. So I said never again. I came across the Blue Diamond brand and the reviews were good overall so decided to take a chance on a bargain brand. I use it almost every day for eggs, sauteed veggies, browning chicken, etc. Always use medium heat with a light coating of oil. Very happy with the results. However I started to notice a buildup of a dark rough patch on one part of the griddle. No amount of washing would get rid of it. I decided to take a chance and drizzled some mineral spirits on the rough area and let it sit. After 10 minutes or so the rough residue wiped off with some vigorous rubbing with a paper towel. I suspect a cheap brand of canola oil I was using may have been the culprit. After a hot soapy wash the griddle is like new again. Plan to switch to a different oil with a higher smoke point and see if that avoids the problem.

This pan is amazing! Nothing sticks to it. I got it to replace one I had that the wooden handle broke. This handle does not get hot and the pan is so super easy to clean. Kinda glad my old one broke!

Works well. Tiny warping from cooling under water. Heats evenly. Surface holds up well.

I guess the video says it all. I cooked on this overpriced junker three times. First time was a hamburger patty with some chopped onions on the side. The hamburger cooked normally on medium heat but the onions over in the corner burned. I ran the griddle through the dishwasher. The corner where the onions charred, had a hard crust that didn’t come off in the dishwasher. In fact, it wouldn’t even budge with any amount of scrubbing with the nylon bristle brush....OR my thumbnail. I finally removed it by soaking the black crust with straight Dawn for two days. Even after that it took a lot of hard scraping with the plastic scraper end of the dish brush to get the griddle clean. A grilled cheese sandwich was uneventful. We used it again for pancakes and no matter how carefully we tried, and much we adjusted the cooking temperature down, the pancakes were too brown. I’ve been around long enough to know that is a sign of a cheap thin metal cooking utensil. The best part of the story came a week or so later when I pulled it out and discovered that it is so warped that it won’t even sit flat. I’ve had many of this type of griddle over the years and when they warp it’s always with a slight bulge in the middle not a corner curling up about ½ inch. This griddle was never used on high heat or washed while still hot...I know better. I have formed the opinion that all of the little aluminum griddles are junk and the cheapest one that will work for a year or so and then toss it is the smartest. I paid $40 for this thing and will surely be seeking a refund.

I always wanted one of these Blue Diamond pans and so I got this one. Now I have a whole set and this has clearly been the best set of pans I have ever bought, period. Easy to clean, truly really nonstick as I have done my own testing with burnt cheese AND burnt grits. Both pealed right off, no problem!! I gotta get used to cooking with less oil now!

I really appreciate using this griddle for my delicious pancakes. Formerly, I had a similar design griddle that had "warped." I purchased this griddle because it is "Warp Resistant." The griddle has a good weight, & it sits flat on my glass top stove. The griddle heats evenly too. The edge of the griddle is not too high and makes turning pancakes easy. I have not used this griddle for anything except pancakes and grilled sandwiches & it works equally well for both foods. If you want a griddle that heats evenly and does not warp, give this item a try; I highly recommend!
