Optima FIRE Carbon Beach Platform Tennis Paddle - Padel Raquet

I've played a lot of tennis, but had never tried platform tennis when I ordered this paddle. My goal was to get an adequate paddle quickly and at a low price. This one was deeply discounted and the reviews were excellent. Happily the vendor addressed my several questions promptly and helpfully. This looks different from the paddles being used by the other women. It is thicker and has a smoother face. It is nice and light weight and has a zipper case to protect it between matches. Now I just need to develop my accuracy skills to equal the power of this paddle. 2nd thoughts a year later.... This paddle has no grip on a damp ball. It's just fine when dry, but one of the great benefits of platform tennis is that you can play even though there is some dampness about. I've just ordered a new paddle with "killer grit" on it. Have fun, play often and hard!

Decent enough starter paddle, though if you are going to play seriously I recommed you buy a better one. Good price though.

I bought 3 of those racquet that seem very promising all of them are cracked don't play with this racquet and a tennis ball unless your not a hard hitter, should be a good racquet for a women since they hit not as hard as men, I strongly recommend this racquet if your not a hard hitter, one of my 3 racquet didn't made to the end of it s first game. Too bad thought I had foud a special racquet at a super price at the time of purchase (last year) it was advertise at 199$ on special at 29$ this racquet doesn't worth that suggested price. Have fun play hard

I use the paddle for platform tennis and it performs really well giving me a lot of confidence on the court. It's got great weight and balance and allows for sharp crisp contact with the ball.

The racquets were great! They arrived quickly and met my expectations. They were very sturdy and worked well. I enjoyed them.

Still really getting use to this paddle I got this one after my first and it was the right price this one though is a bit different then my first carbon this one is much thicker and for some reason feels softer but I feel like I can pound the ball with this one despite it being lite weight good direction and easy to use handles very well like I said once you get use to the fact that it is thicker this paddle works for you
