Baiser Vole by Cartier for Women 3.3 oz Eau de Parfum Spray

This perfume is the only scent I have ever worn that both men and women comment on with wild abandon when I am wearing it. They stand in front of me drinking in the scent with dreamy smiles on their faces. I had a gentleman tell me the other day that the scent of my perfume was so intoxicating he couldn't concentrate and needed to know what it was so he could buy some for his wife. He also sang a song to me in French about a "Stolen Kiss!" I have had to write down the name of the perfume countless times for people who stop me and ask what I am wearing because they love it so much. It is a lovely scent of lilies that is so captivating it makes strangers sing to me in French and women beg me for the name of my perfume. I know Baiser Vole means, Stolen Kiss in French but I swear this scent is catnip for men and women alike! I have never received as many compliments on any other perfume I have ever worn as I have with Cartier's beautiful and magical scent.

This was a blind buy, I recall sampling Baiser Vole years ago and liking it, although I remembered its bottle design more than the actual perfume. It’s a very light and pleasant lily scent that (much too) quickly settles into talcum powder. I am surprised to discover there is hardly sillage at all, considering it possesses higher concentration than eau de cologne. The scent is all but gone in 30 minutes, which is disappointing. Nothing, not a trace of lily… even the powder base is barely perceptible anymore. Vole, indeed:) The scent stays a bit longer on clothes. It is a gorgeous and timeless classic scent suitable for anyone, not any kind of a “statement” type. A very safe office or brunch choice, also works for a formal occasion. The more I used it, the more I appreciated the fact that I don’t get tired of it. Out of my substantial perfume wardrobe, I reached for it the most. Nothing shrill about it, no flowery heaviness, nothing common. A true masterpiece of an understatement, but one star off for poor longevity.

I was very bored with all the scents that I've been using, and needed a change. I ran into this product in an airport duty free store, and the bottle was over $100, so I passed it. The scent was so good that I had to do a bit of research and found that pretty much everywhere but Amazon, this price holds true.This is a great deal for a wonderful, sophisticated scent that is very feminine and definitely understated. You will not be announcing your presence in the room before you even enter with this one, even if you spray on a little bit too much. Your fragrance should not precede you, ladies! To sum it up...Lovely innocence of lilies, warm, approachable, beautiful.

Cartier has been my go-to perfume for almost a year now. It’s light, not too heavy, and doesn’t get overwhelming like some of my other perfumes. I never get bored of it. The only thing is the scent doesn’t last too long on skin since it’s lighter and gets absorbed, but if you spray it on your clothes, it lasts much better. Still, I absolutely love it and will be ordering another soon!

Update: 24 hrs after receiving this product, the diffuser has fluid leaking from it that is making the bottle sticky and smells like chemicals. The perfume lost any nice scent and smells like motor oil within a minute of putting it on.I got this scent originally in a Macy’s perfume sampler bag and babied it until it ran out. Great value for your money considering what quality costs. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys Amber/wood/vanilla notes.

Scent is light and fresh with powdered lingering smell. The scent doesn’t last on my skin like I hope it would so i sprayed some on my clothes. That seemed to work. I don’t notice any discolouration on the fabric.

I have used this fragrance for a few years and love it, and, to find it at such a good price is great! The smell is wonderful and lasts on the skin.Very classy fragrance! Pleased with this product.
