The Antidote To Foggy Goggles
This anti-fog spray, if used correctly, is the antidote to the bane of every lap swimmer. After a lot of experimenting, I've figured out how to maximize its effectiveness.1) Don't wait until you get to the pool. Apply the spray at least 30 minutes beforehand.2) Spray it all over the inside and outside of the lenses and let it soak in for about 20-30 seconds. Never touch the lenses with your fingers or with a cloth of any sort.3) Rinse off the spray with luke warm tap water. (Don't use pool water!)4) Set the goggles aside and let the lenses dry. Never use a towel or cloth to clean them.5) Once the lenses are dry -- or mostly dry -- you're good to go.6) Try to avoid touching the inside or outside of the lenses at any time. (It will damage the lenses' special coating.)My only quibble with the Jaws Quick Spit is that the spray runs out pretty quickly. If you do a lot of swimming, then I would suggest purchasing a 2 pack or a 3 pack.

Works really well until you touch the coating
I looked at other reviews and I thought I should give it a go! I had a TYR and a Speedo goggle to see if there was any difference (there really wasn’t). As a competitive swimmer, fog is an absolute pain, especially swimming long distance events. Looking at the reviews, I cleaned my goggles and spritzed 4-6 times for each lens and made sure that the coating was all inside the goggle lens. At this stage DO NOT TOUCH THE COATING NO MATTER WHAT, otherwise it will fail and the coating will be ruined. I waited for around 8 -10 minutes and rinsed without touching the inside. I did attempt to apply the coating to the outside of the goggle, but I thought it was useless since my hands usually touch the outside of it. I tested this while swimming and at first I thought it was fogging, but after dipping my goggles in the pool water for a little bit it stayed clear which was great! In fact it lasted me for a week! However the coating does need to be reapplied often, but just make sure you do not touch the coating. Overall, I rate it a 4 because it doesn’t last long but it works pretty well!

Not Worth Spit!
Let me start off by saying I purchased Quick Spit for my eyeglasses (not swimming or scuba goggles) so I can only speak to its application in this context.During the cold winter months, my glasses fog up while shoveling snow or going from cold outdoors to warm indoors or the inside of a car.In the past, I have used Cat Crap as my go-to anti-fog, but I thought I would try something new with Quick Spit.....it did not work.I have tried every permutation of lens application that I can think of e.g. apply a little and let it dry and wipe off, apply a lot let it dry and wipe off, apply a little and rinse off etc. etc. etc. with little or no anti-fog abilityI did find that if you apply a little let it dry and wipe it off, but not too much (per the instructions) it kinda worked but the film it leaves behind is pretty much as bad as the fog it trying to prevent. -So you're stuck. If wipe your lenses clean it wipes off the Quick Spit and your lenses fog. If you don't wipe your lenses clean, they don't fog, but you're left with the ugly haze of Quick Spit. After six weeks of testing Quick Spit using different application methods, I have determined that it is not fit for outdoor use for folks who want clean lenses.

Motorcyle helmet visor fog clear
I use this product on my motorcycle helmet during cold season. It works down to about 20degF when applied as instructed and given one exhales slowly through the nose. Under 15degF visibility is reduced and under 10degF it does nearly nothing after 5min. Under 5degF my visor turns to ice within 2min with the "spit" having seemingly no effect. Overall great product and does what it claims in normal conditions.

Save your own spit; keep this HANDY!
Do refer to other reviews. This is only my experience with two uses with both old Speedo swim goggles (plastic lens) and new USDivers snorkeling mask (glass lens) in an indoor 25yd lap pool. First use was applying product on both the day before use and rinsing with municipal tap water. Worked well in both the next day for about 45 minutes of swimming, swapping one for the other, as I was breaking in the new mask, but the goggles are over five years old with pool and lake swimming use. Clearing goggles two or three times, due to swapping with trialing, seemed to neutralize antifogging. Needed a reapplication. Glass in mask was still antifogged with these exchanges. Second use was application immediately before use; goggles used first. Same swapping between goggles and mask. Since I'm also breaking my feet and legs into the snorkeling swim fins so as NOT to cramp in the ocean water off the FL Keys next month. Some folks have complained about eyes burning after immediate use. Today, I did not have any problem. And I have chloramine gassed long enough to have eye and ear burns in my 20s. Took three years to recover before further chlorinated pool exposure. No problems since and no eye problems with this product. I did thoroughly rinse both after rubbing product into lenses. Used the goggles first and left the mask for next use. For the next 10 laps with goggles. No burn; no fogging. Swapped off to mask. Next 20 laps. with mask. Snorkeling kicking practice/break in. No eye burn. No fogging. I think this product will last two or three rinses and then need reapplication. Use the minimum squirt/partial squirt for goggles and mask. Make sure you THOROUGHLY rinse until any bubbles are gone. That has worked for me. I've used Foggle before and now prefer the pump spray to the wipes. I hope you give this product a try and follow their instructions. [I decided to NOT peel off the seal of the bottle under the cap removed to install the pump spray top. I did make small puncture in center of seal to run in the siphon tube. I think that will reduce evaporation loss over time.] I will update after further pool and then ocean use.

Not good for cold weather fogging
Product didn't work at all for my situation, prescription glasses continue to fog up under closed in snowmobile helmet in cold weather.
