Amara Beauty Squalane Oil Moisturizer with 100% Pure Plant Derived Squalane for Face, Body, Skin and Hair - Face Oil 2 fl. oz.

I purchased a bottle of the new Squalane Oil from Amara Organics a few weeks ago. I currently use other Amara products and have been 100% pleased with them all. I had never heard of Squalane Oil before Amara Organics sent me an email to let me know that they had it as a new product to try. I have incorporated it into my skin care routine and am absolutely amazed at the visible results it has produced. I have used many product lines over the years and can attest that, for any of them to work, you have to use them every day. Part time skin care will not produce many results. I have been using Amara products for greater than two years now and can say with confidence - their products will give you the best results at the best price. That being said, short of using prescription products or having invasive procedures done, there is a point where you will "max out" your results. I have done well "maintaining" my progress and the skin on my face, décolletage and hands looks wonderful. Then, I started to use the Squalane Oil and it took the appearance of my skin to the next level. I have had perpetual lines on my forehead that looked better than they did prior to the Squalane, but, after the Squalane THERE IS VERY VISIBLE IMPROVEMENT. I will same the same thing for my crow's feet, laugh lines and the knuckles on my hands. I have been using it on my lips and my nails as well and they are more comfortable and attractive. The oil is very, very light, absorbs easily into the skin and is not very shinny. A little bit of the oil goes a long way so you will not have to use much so the bottle will last a while. It's been a long time since I have been so impressed with a new product. If you're ready to take your skin care regimen to the next level, try the Amara Organics Squalane Oil. I highly recommend it. Have purchased this brand twice now. If you are new to squalane oil this is a perfect place to start! A little goes a very long way, so you definitely get your dollars' worth. Squalane oil penetrates the skin: it doesn't just sit on top forming a 'moisture barrier'. It restores moisture where it is lacking. I apply it every night after cleansing and actives. As far as daytime use, I use it in the morning during the winter and my skin is hydrated all day without being greasy. I use it in the summer as well, however, because my face sweats a lot in any environment over 60 degrees F (yay), after I apply the oil in the morning, I will do a couple other things until my face eventually starts sweating, then I will pat the excess off. So even in the summer with me sweating and then patting some of the oil off, the oil still provides the necessary moisture so my skin isn't tight. I will also mention that I do not wear foundation, powder, concealer, highlighter, etc. (so no skin makeup), so I cannot comment on how squalane interacts with it. I like squalane so much more than jojoba, because the latter is quite thick. Anyway, yay squalane oil! :)

This stuff is fantastic! I’ve been using this after my hyaluronic acid serum every night for around a year and a half now, and it has made such a huge difference in my skin. My skin is so much softer, never feels tight at all, and I’ve even noticed the texture on my skin get a little bit smoother. I’ve dealt with acne for over half of my life, and this has done wonders for the dry patches without making the rest of my skin more oily, and has even lessened the irritation quite a bit. My skin has actually been a lot less oily since I’ve been using squalane. I have tried the ordinary’s squalane a couple of times in the past, and while theirs is also really good, this brand seems to soak into my skin much more quickly and easily and leaves my skin softer for longer. My mom has super dry skin though, and she very slightly prefers the ordinary.

So far I really like the oil. It’s absorbed quickly into my skin and my face isn’t greasy at all like I thought it might be. I’ve only been using it a week so I can’t say how effective it is yet. My only complaint is the dropper. It’s not really a dropper at all and releases steady drops of the product as soon as you take it out of the bottle without squeezing the top. That is really frustrating.

This stuff is amazing. I heard about it from a website about simple skincare science. I use it on my face, hair and nails. I have combination skin, with an oily t zone but generally very dry and flaky skin. I mix it with my face cream for day and night time moisturizing, and it really makes my skin glow. My hair is very thick, frizzy, and kinky/curly. I put a dime size amount over wet hair that’s been coated with a leave-in conditioner, and my hair winds up feeling so soft and smooth, but not greasy or weighed down at all (honestly, I don’t mind my hair being a little weighed down, but this makes it so manageable that the trade-off works well for me. I just add a little camellia oil to my ends on days that I need a little more weight/richness.) Thanks to this product, I went from a product junkie to 3 products for hair and 2 for face for daily maintenance. I’d like to try some other formulas, but I’m sold on this as a staple. Hopefully they’ll make it subscribe and save soon.

I didn’t know what people meant when they talked about a product being “the holy grail” until I came across this product. I’ve already gone through over a dozen bottles of this and even got my husband, mom and several coworkers hooked on it. It moisturizes your skin so well and it won’t clog your pores. I actually started using this product when looking for something that would not clog my pores and make my acne worse. I can’t live without this product. I also use it on my lips when they start to get dry instead of chapstick and in one day my lips are back to normal. I also lost all my hair going through chemo and used the oil to keep my skin and head moisturized during treatment which can be super harsh on skin. I also love that it’s all nontoxic ingredients. I 100% recommend this product! Please don’t even stop making it!

Only been using for a short time and not every day. I didn't think much of it by itself, but mixed in with my other products I feel like it makes them more effective, or at the very least, they absorb better. I have a thick body cream I use with a few drops of this and it glides on an into my skin. I also mix a couple of drops with Castor oil on my face and a few body scars I have and it makes the Castor oil lighter on my face and it seems like it is doing more for helping to diminish my scars. Would recommend, and will re-purchase.

I'm very happy with this product. I've previously used their Vitamin C serum with Hyaluronic Acid, and I figured I'd give this new product a try. The Squalane Oil is definitely more oily than the serum, and a little goes a long way. If you have oily skin, this may not be good for you. But if you have dry skin, this moisturizes better than any face moisturizer I've used. It might seem oily/greasy at first, but the oil has a silky feel to it, and it makes my skin feel plump, soft, and healthy. It will leave your skin with a bit of a shine to it, but I'm sure a little matte cover-up or powder would do the trick to offset that. I've been using for a few weeks now with great results. I don't need to put on additional moisturizer or lotion after this, and my skin stays moisturized for the entire day (some cream-based moisturizers seem to wear off after awhile, especially in the winter or in really dry conditions). I have had no adverse reactions like redness or acne, and would highly recommend to anyone who suffers from dry skin.
