Venom [Blu-ray + DVD]

I personally love this movie. The writing was great - funny, yet not over-the-top. For Venom being the ‘Villian’, the movie portrayes him becoming good. A++ Movie.Now for the Amazon Exclusive... it’s interesting. I’ve never seen something like this. The pictures do it justice, however the size is about the same as a CD case. Comes with a very cool case, both Blu-Ray/DVD, along with Digital. I would say B+ for the Exclusive.

I was so happy to grab this special edition. I loved the movie and the artist's work on this is amazing. It was smaller than I expected, more like a CD-case size than a DVD size, but that didn't bother me.

I love this packaging!! its very unique!!i got it during 13$ Black Friday sale! my only complaint is there wasn't a 4k option, i got the BB steelbook for 4k but really like this packaging!

Loved the movie but had significantly more adult language than other PG-13 Marvel movies. Something to think about if you have young children.

This is not a review of the movie itself, it's just about this amazon exclusive packaging, which is unnecessarily large and very poorly thought out. Apparently this "design artist" didn't do ANY homework to know what collectors really want and is still living in the 80's when CDs were the big thing. Collectors short on shelf space will absolutely hate this packaging! And there's absolutely no reason why the art couldn't have been put on a much more shelf-friendly size box. The drawers are unnecessarily thick. And there's absolutely no reason for the height to mimic music discs rather than the long standing taller height for movies.Collectors who love this movie so much as to want to make a special place to highlight the box in their collection, or those who have very small collections with which to store, who probably aren't really "movie collectors" at all, might be keen on the packaging, assuming comic book art for a live action film is your thing. We bought it solely due to an apparent price mistake. Otherwise we would have went with the standard BD edition instead. We certainly wouldn't have paid more for packaging this poorly thought out, and have since placed the discs in a spare standard case and printed out artwork for it online.
