I was skeptical of buying this because I want to make sure whatever “loofa” I invested in would get sudsy enough in the shower. This bath sponge is so perfect and it’s like a little massage on your skin, it feels so good! It definitely gets sudsy and distributes the soap evenly and. 10/10 recommend. Can’t go wrong with this product.

There are 3 main complaints regarding these silicone scrubbers:1. They're too soft/they don't exfoliate2. They're not durable and either disintegrate or the bristles start getting gummy after a while3. They smell badI took away one star because this thing indeed smelled horrible out of the package. It had a very chemical, pervasive smell. So much that I was actually scared to use it while it still smelled that way. I'm thinking it's a mold release chemical, as it was largely the bristles that smelled and not the backside. So I soaked it overnight in vinegar, and that got rid of 90% of the smell. I then used it, and it has been o.k.Concerning the durability I chose this particular scrubber as it didn't have the negative reviews concerning such that many of the other non-black scrubbers do. So, we'll see, and if mine has problems I'll be updating this review.Concerning the lack of exfoliation, that is completely true: this thing is very soft. However, that is exactly why I wanted it, as it's for my elderly father, whom I bathe. Using a washcloth is rough on his skin, so I had been using a plastic net loofah. That was o.k. and easier to moderate in terms of scrubbing action but still lacking, as it soaked up a lot of soap without getting it on the skin. Trying to rinse the loofah after was indicative as it took a lot of water to rinse all the soap out of it. Now I'm using this silicone scrubber. Fantastic. I can use it easily on my dad's face and over and in his ears, and it's gentle while still getting into all the nooks and crannies. It spreads soap better than the loofah did, because it doesn't soak any of the soap up. Rinsing it out takes 5 seconds.Also, it is microwaveable. After use I zap it for 30 seconds to sanitize it. I've been doing this with washcloths and loofahs, also. It will wear out a washcloth, sooner, just fyi.I highly recommend the manufacturer make variations of these. I'd recommend something with thicker bristles that actually has noticeable exfoliation. Or make the bristles an x-shape or star shape in cross section. These silicone brushes are a great idea but need more development.UPDATE: 03/27/2021I've been using this thing now, 2x/week for almost half a year. No problems whatsoever. After the first 2 months I stopped microwaving it; it rinses perfectly clean and dries soon enough, so I haven't felt the need for sanitizing it. Although I haven't used it for such, this would also be perfect for washing babies.

I absolutely love this thing. I've been a "bar soap only" guy for over 30 years. I've tried bodywash with loofahs in the past but it never felt natural and I'd always revert back to bar soap (what I'm used to). This bath sponge comfortably holds in your hand much like a bar of soap but exfoliates the skin and cleans better than soap/hands alone, plus it will last longer than a loofah(it won't become a Petri dish for bacteria). I feel it holds on to bodywash far better than previous reviews state, it also builds a great lather easily. I will be buying another for back up though I don't anticipate needing it for some time to come.

To explain, I did not buy this as a body brush, or anything like that. I purchased these so I can hold my curly spiral hair pins. Those pins get tangled and are a pain to separate when thrown in a drawer. So I thought about it, and came up with using this product to hold the hair pins in a vertical position. I bought several of them to contrast with the color of the pins.

I was wary of this product when I first purchased it because I was not sure that:1. The bristles would prove to be effective for cleansing my skin (compared to my previous favorite, the Axe shower tool) and also hold up over time2. The fact that the entire scrubber is silicone would mean that my body wash would be wasted by it not lathering up as well as my Axe body tool or any regular loofaBoth concerns have been put to rest, although I think concern #2 is still a minor issue because I don't think this scrubber holds the body wash and the lather as well as other tools, but it is close enough that I think its other benefits outweigh this minor con.What I really like about this scrubbing tool is:- the silicone is really soft, so even when I have sunburnt skin I am able to easily use the tool to wash in the shower- the fact that it is made of silicone means that it will be pretty much impervious to soap scum, dirt, etc. ruining it over a short period of time- it holds the body wash/soap much better than I was anticipatingWhy I took off a star:- Even though I was impressed by how well the scrubber holds the body wash/soap (compared to my expectations), it is still inferior to other shower tools/loofas- I wish the backing portion of the scrubber was made of a stiffer material. I feel like it bends way too easy, sometimes making it easy to slip out of my handOtherwise I love this new shower scrubbing tool, and I even bought a second one to take with me when I travel!

I was skeptical when I saw the reviews and the photos of this, but I figured it was worth a try. I really love my silicone shampoo brush and my little silicone face scrubber. I didn't think this thing would be very sudsy, but it was FANTASTIC! I used my usual quarter size of liquid soap. It lathers really nice - feels wonderful on the skin! I love that I can just flip it over to exfoliate on my feet. And it gets into all the nooks and crannies - belly button, between the toes, etc.... Absolutely love it and plan to get another one for a back up.It's not for bar soap users... That may be where the bad reviews came from... For Liquid Soaps it works GREAT!!!

excellent body brush for the shower but it takes longer to wash because the brush is too small. I wish it were larger especially for a man to use. great for exfoliating and lathers wonderfully.

The long bristle is too long and soft to be effective at exfoliating the skin - the main reason for buying it. 4 stars as the other side is excellent at lymphatic drainage/massage when used appropriately.

Non so come ho fatto fino ad ora usando la spugna tradizionale.Oltre che pratica e anche molto piacevole utilizzarla sotto la doccia.La consiglio e la comprerei altre dieci volte!!
