Awesome reference
I am a Bible study nerd, unfortunately I do not have any "seminary, professional theological studies, or education in Hebrew or Greek. This Vines has upped my personal studies, helping me understand many themes, thoughts etc that my lack of professional education made it hard for me to grasp. The price I paid was excellent this resource well worth 4 or 5 times as much. I recommend to any one who is serious about truly studying the Bible.

VIne's Expository Dictionary for Kindle
I have used the print version of Vine's for nearly 40 years had have found it very useful. Even though I have more thorough and up-to-date resources in my print library, I use it often for quick reference or a brief check on definitions and usage of Biblical words. As far as content is concerned, I would give it a 5 star rating.I recently bought the Vine's for Kindle. The basic content is the same and it is well-presented on the page. There is a table of contents for Old Testament and New Testament. Both have a contents page allowing the user to access words by first letter. It is easy to navigate to the word you are looking for.I was disappointed by two deficiencies. First, the book is not indexed, so a search of the book does not work as the pop-up message panel will explain. Having this would make the Kindle version more useful and flexible and indexing a dictionary would seem, to me, an obvious requirement. Secondly, my print version has an index in the back which consists of all of the Greek and Hebrew words in the dictionary transliterated into English. Under each transliterated word are the English words into which the Greek/Hebrew word is translated for dictionary purposes. The English translation of the Greek/Hebrew words in Vine's follow the King James version. In many cases, newer translations do not translate the words the same. Having this index would allow you to find what word Vine's is using and navigate to it. My solution to this is to look up the passage in my Kindle KJV and find the word there and then go to Vine's and navigate to the word. It would be much more convenient if the index were there instead of end-note references. Maybe it could be indexed and linked to the reference words. However, for the Kindle, this is a very good quick-reference aid for getting a feel for the word in the Bible in context and enriching your Bible reading and study using the Kindle. I have profited from having it.

Love this book!
Amazon is always so dependable. Delivery was perfect. Vine’s is used by most scholars. Too many so called religious people simply accept what some “guy” is spewing about the Bible. Why not investigate for yourselves and learn that what is too often taken for Biblical truth, just ain’t so. Sorry, you’re not going to heaven, but you’re not going to burn for all eternity in some childish nightmare place either. Humans were created for life on earth. Armageddon is nothing more than God’s government (kingdom!) conquering silly, incompetent human governments that will refuse to give way or secede to God’s “will on earth” as was originally intended. Have a good read! And OH! Find a JW that will teach you “truth”

This book is for serious students
Comprehensive comes to mind. That's how Mr. Vine, Unger and White presents the material. One of the many features I like about this book is that it gives the Hebrew and Arabic roots of the words or phrases. The definitions are in detail. The book is divided into separate Old and New Testament sections. In my opinion this is the book for in depth study.
