A scope with quality that matches or exceeds it's price point. I have this on a PCP air gun and love the close-focus parallax adjustment knob. The glass is bright and clear with easily distinguishable cross-hairs. The only issue is the magnification dial has just a bit of play, but that is not an issue. I also like the positive clicks of the adjustment knobs and the fact that you can lock them.

Fairly clear for a compact size. Awesome side focus albeit a tad touchy but accurate. I would buy again if the price ever sqings back into my price range. Good value when its on sale.

Bought this scope for a magnum brake barrel nitro piston air rifle, Gamo hunter extreme in .25. Gamo stepped up their game with this rifle. It is a beast hitting 38 foot pounds of energy...yes 38 foot pounds!! The gun has a cocking effort of about 50 pounds so the recoil is serious. With that said, I put about 300 round through the rifle and the scope has not drifted at all. You guys with bad reviews better make sure you lock tight all your fasteners on magnum brake barrel air rifles because this little scope may dance around because of its size. I got this scope because I did not know how bad the recoil would be and didn't want to spend the money for a vortex as I usually put those on air rifles. I'm not changing it out..I like it!! The Parallax is spot on as well which is unusual for cheaper scopes. Best $172 I ever spent.

It took forever to show up - wrong non illuminated. It's going to take four more weeks to hopefully show up correct illuminated - maybe. The build and quality were good for a little scout scope. If it shows correct next time will get to see if the illumination adequate and I'll be happy.

Leapers/UTG is one of a very few companies making telescopic sights appropriate for air rifle use. The Bugbusters in particular are built to handle the two-way recoil of a spring piston gun, and they focus as close as 5 yards- something you wouldn’t need in a firearm but which is very useful in airguns. The short length makes them very handy, although in some rifles they may be too short to allow the shooter’s eye to be positioned close enough. That’s the problem with my intended use (an older UK-made Webley Patriot) but it should be ideal for another of my air rifles.

Easy to use but really should have gotten a 40+mm objective lens or bigger. Sight picture is small. Takes some getting used to when you are used to bigger scopes. I put this on a hunting PCP so it will be just fine. The scope is very small compared to most of my other scopes. 4 stars because I think that the sight picture could be bigger. I have other 32mm scopes and their sight picture is indeed bigger and more open but in fairness they are not side focused parallax, they are objective focused parallax and are not as easy to adjust in a hunting situation. This scope will grow on me. A few old timers have checked it out at the range and they get a kick out of the wheel on the side of the scope. It really should come with the scope and the manufacturer knows your gonna need it. The adjustment is fast and with a tiny knob, your unable to fine tune it, but with the wheel”butter smooth”. Get the wheel!

I tried a number of brands of scopes on my magnum air rifles, including Weaver, Bushnell, Leupold and others. All of them broke quickly on the air rifle, most in less than 10 shots. The kick of a magnum air rifle is not like a high powered rifle. It is a by-directional kick that is very hard on a scope. The only scope I read about or tried that lasts on a magnum air rifle is the Leapers UTG. I have had several, and they work consistently and accurately.

I first purchased this scope for a very powerful air rifle. Air rifles are quiet, but have a hard kick when you fire them. That hard kick can crack the lens in your scope. This scope is one of the few scopes that can handle that strong kick when fired. I liked the scope so much I put it on two .22 rifles and a 9mm rifle. This scope is a good fit for those guns, because that fits the range of those shells. If you have a more powerful gun, you may want a more powerful scope. Thank!

I love this scope! I had been looking at Air hawk and other scopes for my air rifle and I am stacking pellets in dime-sized groups at 75 yards (a lot of the is the air rifle but the scope is great!)My dad bought a scope that cost three times this and I keep zero and make adjustments far easier. You can adjust things even with hands in gloves, and the satisfying sound of the click is great! Never had any kind of scope fog etc even shooting in the winter and at the sea side!The sight picture is pretty good, and really the ONLY thing I can say against the scope is the quality of the visual could be better. I tend to run it 9x but the ability to focus in on really close stuff is great too! You really can shoot insects if you wanted to! Being a compact scope it's compatible with a lot of setups and quite bright thanks to that compact design.The parallax works well, and honestly for the money I don't think you will find a better scope for air rifles, and maybe 22's! If you are hesitating, pull the trigger!

Buy once cry once. It is a little bit pricy in Canada, but you get what you pay for. The good quality glass, and perfect reticle for air rifles make it bet in class IMHO, and I have tried MANY brands on top of spring rifles. The variable, side mounted objective wheel and generous 3-12x magnification are great features and much better than adjusting objective via the twisting of the front of the scope. It comes with great mounts as well, so that is another bonus. Great on any rimfire rifle too.
