My star rating is the for the 2nd set of molds that I ordered, from the seller of the same name brand of these molds...homEdge. If I was rating my first set purchased from HuvuH, it would've been 1 star, 2 at the most.I ordered these twice. The first set was ordered from the seller "HuvuH". They came late from China and I didn't get my complete order of 2 different sizes. The large molds were completely smashed the way they were packaged individually in plastic bags, were super thin and flimsy. (I received a refund from Amazon since that storefront closed)My 2nd order was from the seller "homEdge", the name of the brand. The set of 3 came nested inside of each other and were a better quality. Thicker overall and packaged well. The spheres were round as they should be. So even tho' the price was higher from homEdge, if you want better quality molds, order from them. They were Prime shipped and arrived sooner than estimated too.Another thing...the homEdge set of 3 looks exactly like the picture of the listing (see the mold on the right). While the cheaper thinner set had a small dent/hole in each of the 4 corners (see the mold on the left). It was from them trying to copy the Fat Daddio version of these molds. You can see the distinct difference looking at the back of the molds.

The media could not be loaded. *Check out the images and video• I knew the price was too good to be true so I didn't have super high hopes for the product which is why I say it's not bad, but it's not great, that's just my personal outlook.• Note: I have not used them yet so I can't say how well they work, however, the molds are SUPER thin so I wouldn't recommend these for a business, more for personal use.• Wash before first use! Once taken out of the package they are tacky and smell of chemical so make sure you wash them very well. Maybe leave them soaking for a bit in warm water.• As for the mold size itself, I would say it's a tiny bit smaller than advertised. As you can see, when 2 molds were put together it is a pretty decent Medium size but it probably will not fit too much product inside if being used as a hot cocoa bomb.• Final thoughts: Great price, nice size, for personal use as the product is super flimsy. I will come back and update my review after I've used them a few times.

Search no more! If your wondering what size this mold is. This is PERFECT to make those Chocolate Balls that you dunk in hot milk! Key to not breaking is coat one layer of chocolate, i use Chocolate bark. Let it dry in fridge for 5 minutes, then with a cooking brush. Brush a coat of Chocolate again and let it dry for 10 minutes. It will peel of easy and slowly!

I ordered these around Thanksgiving, took forever to get here. I just received them 12-9-20. I, too, wanted them for the hot cocoa shells. However, when I took them out of the mailing pouch, there was a strong order of what smelled like nail polish remover. My daughter even said the same thing. So I washed them, hoping they would be better. But now they smell like soap. Being a bakery I know how to wash pans, and molds and I just think this product is not a good product. Being a chocolatier for almost 37 years I know that chocolate will absorb all smells. I did a test batch and these smell like soap, I'm so disappointed. I am trying a method where they said if you bake for 20 minutes on 250 the smell should dissipate, I'm hoping it does, if not, I will go back to using the 2 candy molds that I have (3 spheres only) will just take longer. Just checked on them in the oven and they smell so strong of soap to the point where if someone wears a lot of perfume its like you can taste it, that's what this is doing. Makes me wonder if these were returned items as were used. No directions, nothing stating what the product is made from, just shoved in the mailer. So disgusted.

At first I was excited as these were super easy to use. I painted the chocolate all the way up to the edges, and easily removed it from the mold. That's where the problem started. First, these aren't big enough to hold the recommended amount of hot cocoa. Second, when you put the two halves together, you don't get a round ball. You get a strange, oblong shape. I've ordered new molds from another store as I have no use for these.

used for many things. Made brownies that looked like mushrooms (cooked brownies in it) chocolate cups that hold whipped cream and fruit, and froze little toys in water for my toddler to melt. All items came out very easily, the shape is a half circle, it’s versatile, thick, and works well.
