Apply once only
I do feel my hair is thicker than before. I had big problem in the beginning because it cause scalp skin so unbearable itchy. I found a way to overcome the problem. Very easy. I donโt use twice a day as instruction. Instead I only use ONCE. That is it. It might took longer to work, but it works. Thank you for the product.

It works. If youโre consistent with it.
I wasnโt really having hair loss, more just thinning of the hair (this starts to happen in your 40s ๐ซค) I bought the three month supply and by the third bottle, I am extremely happy with results. Just the small amount of new growth has given me much more volume. And the parts on my scalp that looked thinning no longer look thinning. I am very surprised and very pleased with the results! I have read that it takes up to six months to see the results, and I am extremely excited to see that! I have already seen results with just the three month.

Recommend with Nutrafol ๐
I had some pretty bad stress spots on both sides of my scalp, but after using this for six months, I really started seeing results. I was also taking Nutrafol at the same time, and I think that helped a lot too. I tried measuring, and my hair has grown about 2 inches since I started the routine. One thing Iโve noticed, though, is that some of the new growth feels a little brittle/crunchy. I have 3B curly hair, so maybe itโs just adjusting back to my natural textureโbut the rest of my hair near the scalp doesnโt feel like that. Either way, I highly recommend it ๐

WARNING: etches marble & granite, but starting to help with my hair. :)
OKAY, I'm posting another review, on Mar. 28. It's been over 6 weeks. I too noticed some hair loss after it started, but now I'm starting to see hair come back. Where I have the greatest loss is around the hairline just north of my temples, and going back about an inch along the scalp. It drives me insane when I part my hair, or when I'm late in touching up my roots. But now, I am definitely seeing some difference. A tip for those having problems with applying it: I use the dropper to deposit the 1 ml of product into a tiny pyrex bowl; then I apply the liquid to the problem areas with my fingertips. If you have a cut on your finger(s), use gloves; the Rogaine can sting you. While I'm thrilled that hair is coming in, I'm concerned that the Rogaine, or else its suspension, is causing my hair color to fade more quickly. Auburn oxidizes faster than other hair colors anyway, but this seems to be oxidizing faster than before. So, I'm now getting my roots touched up every 4 weeks instead of 6, as I used to, but I'm willing to spend the extra money to see whether the Rogaine will really do the trick for my precious locks. Eyebrows: I never, ever thought about using it to re-grow some of the eyebrow hair I lost through years of over-zealous plucking and shaping, but you can bet I'm going to give that a shot, starting tonight! WARNING: THIS LIQUID ETCHES MARBLE!! I certainly had no idea that this would happen when I began using the product last week, nor was there any warning at all on the packaging or in the literature inside. I always put a hand towel down on the marble countertop in my bathroom anyway, but some of this stuff leaked through as I was applying to my scalp, and tore into that marble worse than any solvent. So far as the efficacy of the Rogaine is concerned, I've been using it for only a week, so it's a bit too early to tell. But I can tell you that one of the biggest problems with it, apart from eating marble finish, is how stiff it makes your hair along your part of whichever part of the scalp or hairline on which you're using it. About the only way you can work around it is to wet a washcloth and wipe it along the locks of that are above the scalp, and not the scalp itself. In other words, don't get your scalp wet in order to remove excess product from the hair. I'll report back in 4 months (or sooner, I hope!) to post another review: does it work or not!

It works but you must give it time
I bought the product from my husbands Amazon account- but rest assured- this is a woman writing a review for a woman's product! It took a little over 4 months to see new hair growth. Hang in there. If you are debating about trying this- buy 2 boxes of a 3 month supply rather than one box of one month. Commit to the six bottles. If after six bottles nothing happens you will know your hair loss is due to some other situation that Rogain can not address. But if it does work for you- it will be something you have to continue to apply indefinitely to keep the hair follicles strong. You will waste money buying only one box and giving up. You must apply every day twice a day for at least 3 months. I put it on when I wake up and before i go to bed. It gives my hair a texture that was not too problematic except that it requires more frequent washing- I know personally that if you are losing hair it is distressing and you may be tempted to become delicate with your hair- but I decided to not be bullied. When I apply this- I rub it into the scalp vigorously and let my hair know that I want it to be strong and durable. If it is going to fall out I'd rather get it over with than try to tip toe around the inevitable. But I am VERY happy to say that my head is now sprouting lots of new little strands of hair. They stick straight up and are only noticeable up close but hair gel handles that. But I love, love, love the little sprouts!! And am so glad to see my hair growing back. It is a reasonably priced product considering it is now very valuable to me. Other alternatives for hair loss like weaves or medical implants cost thousands of dollars yearly. This is a fraction of that cost and should be tried first. I hope this product works for you!

Does have it's benefits for some, I think
I've used Rogaine on and off for years now. My latest trial with it lasted for maybe the last 3-4 years. I used it faithfully, twice a day. Here's what I noticed......for me, I think it did do something. It did NOT stop my hair loss. Not once, over all of my trials with this stuff, did my hair loss ever stop. Ever. It seemed to fill in my temple areas somewhat, but really, what I think it did most of all, was thicken the hairs on my head. My hair continued to thin, slowly, every day, but the hairs left on my head seemed thicker. So...it looked like I had more hair, while my hair continued to slowly thin, if that makes sense. I grew tired of putting this on my head every day, though, and didn't feel like the benefit was worth it to me. I worried about the chemicals in the product, and did notice that the hair on my arms seems darker and thicker. At the end of August, I was diagnosed with Lupus....finally, an answer to all of my symptoms, one of which being hair loss. So, I quit using Rogaine. Now, three months later, my hair is shedding like mad.....probably the hairs that Rogaine was helping me hang on to, but who knows really...it could be the medicines I'm on. Anyway, I wanted to give a little info to anyone out there thinking about trying it.

Works Wonders for Thinning Hair!
This 2% Rogaine solution is a game-changer. After 3 months of consistent use, her hair is noticeably thicker and fuller, especially around the crown and part line. No scent, easy to apply, no greasy residue. Regrowth is realโhighly recommend for women dealing with thinning.

Dangerous and toxic drug - massive hair loss with only 1 month use
** NEW USERS PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU BUY ** Let me ask you, if you're told "Don't ever use drugs because using it for a month would make you lose all your teeth and lose your bladder control", WOULD YOU DARE TO TRY IT?? Of course NOT!! Unfortunately for Rogaine, NOBODY ever tells about the big cost and side effects for slightly using or TRYING the product. And I am one of the victims. I am in my 40s and have had thinning hair. I do not have big spots of baldness but was just concerned about going bald in a few years. My mistake for trying Rogaine without reading reviews on forums on the web. I was blinded by the majority good reviews on Amazon and apparently those were biased reviews. I was fully aware that I would have to use Rogaine forever, and if I quit later "hair would go back to where it was before you used, probably thinner because of what you would have shed anyways in those years" - false claims. I used Rogaine for 4 weeks and had no problem at all. On the 5th week, all of a sudden my hair started to fall!!! I shed alot during wash and also during the day. And yes I was aware a shedding phase was normal, but it was too stressful so in the next 2-3 days I decided to quit. I thought it was only a month use how harmful could that be? Stopping should stop all the side effects, correct? And then after I stopped, the shed continued and continued. NOT just the hair that I used Rogaine on (at the crown) fell off, all other hair also fell off!! So apparently stopping DID NOT stop the side effect!! I'm not talking about using it for a few years and my hair is totally dependent on it, I mean I used it for a few weeks!!! Now I am so heart broken and I cry everyday. I'm so mad at every false claim that the manufacturer and other people say about the product!! I'm sure it would work on people who keep on using till the end of their lives, but WHY is it so TOXIC and DANGEROUS and caused so much adverse effect on people who ONLY USED IT FOR 1 MONTH??? **CLAIM** - "after you quit hair grown by Rogaine would fall off and back to where you started" - FALSE!! I quit at the 1st shedding phase, NO hair was ever grown, but hair still falls off, even the part where no Rogaine was used! **CLAIM** "Then maybe Rogaine is still in effect and hair is still in shedding phase" - but come on, I quit 3 weeks ago and if Rogaine is still in effect, then I would say it's like a highly addictive heroin drug. With that much hair loss for only 1 month use, it's TOO dangerous for any ordinary people to even try without doctor's prescription. **CLAIM** "You shouldn't have quit and keep on using you will see results" So this is a 1 way route and I'm punished for quitting. So there's no regretting allowed even BEFORE any hair is grown. To me, the cost is too much. The most important thing is - I ONLY USED 1 MONTH, not even had 1 hair grown by Rogaine, but still I have to suffer massive hair loss - whether it's a forever thing or a few months which I still don't know - it's still a huge cost for test driving a product. If I was told I would lose this much hair in any case over 1 month use (NOT losing only the hair grown by Rogaine as claimed), I would not have started. Rogaine is supposed to stimulate growth, now with hair falling off without any stimulation, will the fallen hair grow back??? When is my hair going to stop shedding??? If I'm allowed to give minus points I would rate -100000000000!!! People think I'm exaggerated, but if anyone not caring about their hair - they would not be shopping for Rogaine nor reading this page at all. Buyers beware, I sincerely hope my shedding would stop in the near future and then no one would ever fall into this horrible trap.
