MegaGear Leica CL Ever Ready Half Genuine Leather Case with Shoulder Strap

well worth the money, I have always bought the 'genuine' Leica cases for my cameras, but the Leica case is (well there's no other word for it) HORRIBLE! I must admit I bought this as a stop-gap to protect my camera until I could buy a 'better' one later on, but no I'm seriously impressed with this case, it fits really well, the leather is substantial and the case is really well made, in short I'm really happy to keep this one permanently , the quality is as good as my Leica ones, so Leica if you read this... you lost a sale! this is 1/4 of the price but and as far as I can see there is no difference in fit or quality.

I wanted a leather half-case for my Leica Cl - this looked good and the price was right, so I purchased one. The Good ? - The fit is really nice - its fairly snug - The leather is nice quality - The stitching is neat and tidy The Less good ? - I dislike the magnet flap thing on the bottom - I am contejtplating removing it entirely - it is secure enough, but twice it's been flapping around when I have managed to inadvertently release the magnetic hold. - its a bit tall around the front - it slightly restricts access to the controls. There is nothing that a sharp knife cannot fix - it's nice, it looks good, the leather is thick and I am sure it will work well to protect my camera, but it is not perfect.

A great case at a ridiculously low price. I have no idea how they produce it for this price. I was considering buying a Leica or other high-end brand but this fits perfectly so why spend the extra? I would strongly recommend this.

I like the idea and the reality is good. One minuscule gripe. The ‘flaps’ at the front of the camera stick out a little bit, but I assume they will ‘settle’ and then it will be really good.

Qualität ist gut passt zur Kamera, einzig auf der Rückseite ist das Leder etwas zu nahe am Drehrad, so dass man nicht 100% schnell drehen kann. Sonst zu empfehlen.

Il materiale e’ di buona fattura e la forma è’ perfettamente attagliate al corpo della fotocamera. Unico inconveniente e’ che l’apertura creata nel fondello per accedere al vano batterie non era a misura e ne impediva l’apertura. Ho risolto dando una limatina tutt’intorno il bordo e’ il problema si è’ risolto. Ma e’ una cosa che si può e si deve evitare

Fits my CL perfectly, the leather is much nicer than the pictures indicate. Plus, the case comes with a leather strap complete with fittings for a CL. Adds some verve to the bland CL. The access port for the battery and SD card works flawlessly.

Matériel de bonne qualité. Adapté au boitier. A voir dans le temps...

The case isn’t pre shaped so all the corners are square. It is a couple of mm's too high messing up the top dial controls. Send it back, do not recommend
