It melts and seemed to be correct rang cause bearing dropped in place.

Super handy tool
These are great for heating bearings. It seems like a lot of people are thinking you're supposed to color this onto the surface and then watch for it to melt. You actually swipe it accross the surface peridically, when it's at the specified heat range, it'll melt instantly and leave an obvious trail. It is very hard when at room temp to just before it's heat calibration and doesn't leave any markings.

Had better temp sticks
Just recieved my temp stick......its broken up on the inside and it doesn't push up. Will not spend money with them again.
