Cast Iron Teapot with 2 Cups I looked through countless Teapot sets and decided to go with this black Japanese style Cast Iron Teapot and I am very satisfied overall with it! This Teapot comes with a tea filter cup, a resting plate, two cups and the teapot. The minimalist design looks great and goes with almost everything. All the pieces match and look great just sitting in the corner on my counter top when not using. Since it is made out of cast iron the teapot and cups are very durable. Each piece of this set has some weight to it making it solid and hard to break. When making tea I used two single tea bags and the taste was amazing! The cups are small so you get around a dozen cups of tea out of it when using the cups, I add milk and sugar to my tea which takes up room in the cup. The tea stays hot for hours after removing from the stove however the handle is not hot making it easy to poor even while hot, just be careful not to touch the teapot. The cups get really hot when you first pour your tea I would wait 7 minutes or longer before even trying to pick the cup up but not to worry your tea will be nice and warm. If you want to drink a larger proportion of tea I suggest you use a different cup. I enjoy the little cups even having to refill them many times. When pouring your hot beverage make sure to go slow as the teapots spout poors quick, well quicker than I imagined. You don't have to hold the top on as you pour until you get to the bottom of the pot. Overall great little stylish teapot that brings a little culture to the table, makes great tea, strains tea leaves and stays warm for hours. Great set would perchance again.

Very good quality and looks beautiful out on the counter! The teacups do get very hot though, so be careful! But it does make a wonderful pot of tea. Definitely worth the price.

Gifted this cast-iron teapot set for my friend’s birthday, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. Excellent craftsmanship and quality. It is heavy, sturdy, and ideal for camping. She absolutely loves it!

The kettle is great. Love being able to put it on the stove. HOWEVER, the teacups are not good. The cups literally stay hotter than the tea inside them. It was hard to grab my tea cup after I poured the tea in. It took so long to cool down that my tea somehow got cooler inside the cup. I use the kettle with normal tea cups now. They look great tho

I've had this teapot for almost 5 years. It has been well taken care of and held up great. The cast iron on the outside and ceramic coating on the inside work surprisingly well together. The only complaint I have is the mesh diffuser broke after a a year or two. But I just put bagged tea in it or a different kind of diffuser. The only issue that it causes is the lid doesn't fit on completely right with the diffuser being missing. But overall with how it's held up over 5 years it gets 5 stars. Everything man made will break eventually and this has done incredibly well.

The teapot may look small but it's great! I can add a full bottle and a bit of another. I boiled it and it stayed hot for an hour! Don't forget cast iron can rust overall it's great!

Ideal size for brewing fragrant tea for two people. Well made with quality materials and good craftsmanship. A piece of art on your side table and useful too.
