Diluted it and used rag to apply to wood.When using this method many coats will be required. Easy to apply and control finish.

Ordered out of spite of previous reviewer. All oil based poly's have a yellowing effect. Will update review when product arrives.To avoid yellowing, you need a water based polyurethane.Update: Spreads nicely and evenly. It's a bit thinner than minwax and takes longer to dry. It levels out better than minwax preventing visible brush strokes. Not quite as good as general finishes arm r seal, but pretty good product to work with.

Much superior polyurethane compared to big box store brands. I've tried most of them and have settled on this one.Gives great protection while not having a lot of the negatives of polyurethane (looking too plasticky, or really yellow).Note - ordered 4 cans here recently in 2 different shipments (all were Prime) and all were pretty heavily dented. Might be unavoidable regardless of the seller. No leaks or anything which was surprising, but just a note so you are aware.

Have been unable to find this product in stores. Good quality that lasts for years.

I was searching for a product that would not yellow my piece. This product was not it. :0(
