Good spacers
I've ordered clear and black spacers. The manufacturers do recommend not to use these unsupported in large frames, because they lose adhesion after a while. We haven't seen this yet since they're brand-new but will take our own extra measures for support in our larger project with this in mind. The adhesive is pretty strong to start with, but will slide sideways if you use them as tight spacers in a U-channel.

Fast delivery, well-worth the money!
I wanted to frame a silk screened poster: I did not want to mat the work, but I also did not want the glass resting against the face of the print. Frame space is a great way to lift the glass away from the print surface; It cuts easily to any length, and has an adhesive backing that holds it in place to the glass. The lip of the frame will hide the frame space, and it comes in black or clear depending on your needs. I highly recommend using this for silk screened concert posters or any print you would not want the glass to directly rest against.

Use It For Framing Pastels
I was at first leery of changing from 1/4" spacer strips to 1/8" strips when framing soft pastels. However, I have found a favorable tradeoff as I tried this size. The first obvious benefit is the quantity of lengths you get with 1/8" spacers. Lots more. There is also the possibility of using a wider selection of frames with rabbets less than 5/8" or so that are commonly available at big box stores. Some of those frames I find are suitable for pastels because the spacer only takes up 1/8" and I usually frame without a mat. So, commercial frames can still be used with a backing board and a dust cover.

Not what I was looking for, but works just fine
I frame my wife's pastel art work for her. Framing is critical to satisfy her gallery as well as the final customer. This spacer is used to space the glass away from the fragile pastel artwork. Formerly I used 1/8" X 1/4" spacer, but suddenly it became hard to find. This 1/8" X 3/16" is narrower but works just fine. 1/8" is the spacer distance either way.

Very powerful adhesive, I haven't had one slip on me yet. Offers just the right amount of distance from the glass for pastels, without being noticeable, and I can still fit it inside most frames unless the rabbet is very shallow. Wish they weren't so expensive!

Does the job!
The separators were easy to cut and stick on the glass. Picture looks great and my wife's cross stitch project does not touch the glass.

Must have to frame soft pastels.
I have been using econospace for framing my soft pastel paintings for several years now. It keeps the glass from touching the painting as I don't mat my soft pastel paintings.Received this order fast.
