Excellent series.. most of it was filmed in my town and they used my house as Molly's childhood house , big white house that looks up to Henry's house.

I Was Alerted By a Co-Worker (Ironically Enough, My Sergeant at My Job as a Jailer) To This Series. I'm Not a HULU Subscriber So I Ordered The Series On Blu-Ray From Amazon. I Definitely Glad I Did, I Love This Show/Series!!! I'm Already a Stephen King Fanboy So I Had High Expectations And For the Most Part I Wasn't Let Down. Obviously The Episode "The Box" Was My Favorite, Especially The Musical Score At the Beginning Of The Episode When They Show The Young Correctional Officer Zalewski Go From His Car Into Work From The Front Gate All The Way To His Post Assignment For The Day Which Happened To Be Watching The Security Cameras Of The Cells and Hallways. All The Actors That Were Selected From This Show Do a Fantastic Job In Their Parts, None Of The Episodes Showed Any Bad-Acting Jobs At All. The Picture and Sound From The Blu-Ray Discs Are Top-Notch and It Was a Treat To Watch This Show On My Home Theatre. Definitely Recommended and Bring On Season 2!!!Update 3/28/2023Re-Purchased Season One 4k Ultra-High Definition Blu-Ray Disc and Wow, Freaking Amazing Picture Clarity!!! Well what can we say - if you have read Stephen King - it is likely you came across Castle Rock in one of his books. This series is extremely well done, and lots of twists, turns and will keep your attention and do pay attention because it will help you better understand things - but not enough to allow you to know what's coming up next. Exceptional. I found the 2nd season lackluster and is Vampire related, and for me that now has really become a genre that once was awesome with Salem's Lot - Lestat, but now overdone and I despite the genre. If you do like that genre - you will enjoy season 2 as well. S1 and S2 are complete stories and completely unrelated with the exception of the title of this series.

I wasn’t expecting much with this show, but MAN WAS IT GOODI was on the edge of my seat the whole time, and season 2 was also excellent but isn’t in 4k :(If you love king, and love shows, give this a shot. It’s worth it

I had this movie once before and it was so good I wanted a copy of it. Enjoyed it very much and watching it the second time I found out some of the things that I missed the first time around.

This was a fun trip..but the destination is a little too distant. I wanted more of a conclusion. The packaging is fine. It is a little light on special features, but no more so than other T.V. shows. Skaarsgaard is phenomenal, so this will make you super excited to see IT chapter 2!

I'm a huge Stephen king fan. Although I haven't finished the series yet (I'm on episode 7) , I am Astounded by all the little Stephen king references scattered throughout. I whole-heartedly disagree with Todd's review below stating there was no sense of doom or anything psychological, I think this series is top notch work. The way JJ Abrams brought Alzheimer's disease to life was downright frightening, and frankly so talented that I think anyone living with someone who has dementia or Alzheimer's or working in senior living should watch this show just based on that. I don't think you need to have blood and gore (which there is a sprinkling of in this series) to create fear for the viewer, and if you can make someone afraid without it, I think that is much better. I have a very limited attention span and only the most gripping of tales that leave me wondering what happens next will get my 5 star rating, and this gets it! I bought the 4k version, and all the dark forest scenes are that much better for it!

I had gone up to my favourite Video store at Bay and Bloor to buy some of the most recent releases and well I was looking around I grabbed Castle Rock without a doubt but I did not realize till I got home that I had bought season two. So, when I realized this I got on to Amazon Prime and I found a copy of season one and ordered it right away. It was a really great price and it was delivered the same day and that is good anytime. Thank You Amazon.
