They come with soft covers, which makes them much more comfortable to use directly on the skin.I followed the instructions and warmed the packs in the microwave, then applied them to my breast for about 10 minutes before breastfeeding. After nursing, I used them as a cold compress (placed other packs in the freezer). This routine really helped relieve the discomfort and supported me in getting the situation under control. No leakage!Always test pack temperature prior to use.I also found them very useful for everyday breastfeeding, especially for engorgement and soreness. Having more than two would be even better; I think having four packs would be ideal so you can always have some ready while others are cooling or warming.Another unexpected use: I used a warm pack on my baby’s tummy during colic episodes. The gentle warmth helped him relax and feel more comfortable. .I highly recommend these for any breastfeeding mom. They are practical, reusable, and a great postpartum essential.

This was honestly such a great product to have, especially in those first couple months of being postpartum. The engorgement was definitely no joke, and these helped to bring some kind of relief, with the cold setting.It doesn’t irritate my skin and it has been lasting me and I am already three months postpartum. Can’t recommend enough to new moms. I kept two sets while breastfeeding - one in the freezer and one to heat up. Came in handy when clogged ducts hit. Would heat a set prior to breastfeeding and then use the cold set after for relief. I now it’s them as ice packs for my kids when they get hurt. Lasted years without breaking so well worth the money. Very comfortable with the shaping - flexible and easy to shape. Thin enough to wear under clothes and thick enough to hold heat for a while. Cold doesn’t last an extremely long time but it was enough for me.

Pros: - Shape of the pack contours to your curves - The center cutout avoids heat being directly applied to most sensitive area - Can be used on other parts of the body - Heats up quickly (15 seconds) for nearly instant relief Cons: - The fabric cover. I was expecting a smooth or silky material since you’re placing the pack on a sensitive area. The texture of the material is not extremely soft or smooth, and seems like it would pill after a little bit of use. Definitely a synthetic. Somehow reminds me of the material of cheap doll clothes. - If you overheat (microwave more than 15-20 seconds per pack) they get very hot and puff up. I wish the heating time wasn’t so sensitive because truth be told, at some point the microwave will get set to 30 seconds with them in and I have no idea what would happen. - To be fair, these aren’t advertised as an incognito relief solution, but I will mention that if you are wearing these in your bra it looks lumpy and noticeable. I just skip the cover and it gets the job done. I let the packs cool slightly and either apply to the skin or between layers. Not sure if that’s recommended but it works for me. Overall it’s a good value and the covers aren’t a dealbreaker for me. If I saw this on a friend’s registry, I’d buy it again for them. I use a combination of these and the Momcozy Hydrogel pads before bed on days I feel especially tender/sensitive during pregnancy.

No leakage, they freeze and heat well. I've dealt with engorgement and I think I currently have a clogged duct. I keep one in the freezer and one at room temp for easy heating. The covers are perfect. They work wonders!

I bought these for my daughter, who is a new first-time mom, and she said she loves them. This brand came highly recommend by my sister-in-law who was a neonatal/labor and delivery nurse for decades. She said it was what her hospital used and recommended to their patients due to quality and effectiveness. My daughter was having issues with pain and other issues while she was figuring out breastfeeding and she loved having a set to warm up to help with milk flow and another set to keep cold to help soothe the pain and irritation. They really saved the day, especially in those first few weeks.

These are really practical. I have two sets. Depending on what I am using them for. If my breasts are encouraged I used these I keep in the freezer. If I am working on milk flow I heat the other pair in the microwave. Really easy to use and don’t take up too much space.
